I thought so!! I'm pretty jealous of your Moab pics, I can't wait to take an off-road trip out there. I'll prob be coming out towards the Fort Worth area sometime between now and August, it'd be great to meet up and do some wheeling.

ToyotaTrailRiders club is doing an off-road event at Bridgeport on July 19th at 8:00am sharp (meaning have tires aired down and ready to roll at 8:00am).

I'll have to check my schedule with work, but I might be in Alaska at that time... How close is Bridgeport to Fort Worth?
 
Spent a day at Barnwell Mountain Recreational Area in East Texas letting my wife do all the off-roading in the 4Runner and our 17 year-old son follow in his Tacoma.

I recently did a solo overland adventure on 40+ miles of 4x4 roads in Big Bend National Park. I'll be doing a write-up with photos for the April issue of TCT Magazine. Here are a few pics...

[MENTION=4517]jediwebdude[/MENTION], That's awesome. I LOVE BIG BEND! I go there every year. Was one of those primitive roads in the photograph, the "river road" that goes down to Mariscal Canyon and Mariscal mine? Where did you set up camp? In the Chisos or down near the river?

I spent 3 nights at BBNP, 2 were at backcountry primitive camping sites.

Day 1
26 mile 4x4 trail called Old Ore Road starting from the North (northern half is most technical)
Camped halfway at Telephone Canyon.

Day 2
Drove the South portion the next morning.
That afternoon, I took River Road to Glenn Springs Road, and drove up to camp at Rice Tanks. Shot the comet.

Day 3
Next morning, I drove out the North part and took paved road back to Rio Grande Village where I stayed next to RVs and did more comet shots.
 
usually not my style but i love your 4runner. So rugged and useful. Looks great.

Take me with you next time! Build looks great, and what a cool trip to take. I've always found astrophotography to be fascinating.
