It wasn't me, but Coyote Flat is a place that's been on my short list. It's one of a few places I want to hit in that area this summer.

It was a pleasure to meet you and your wife, as well. Thanks for your flexibility sorting out the meet up. It quickly went from 2 rigs to 6, but we made it to the campsite!

maybe it was pelfrey. i think it was when we were all gathered and chatting with him in the morning.

also, i've been convincing my wife we need a skottle. she's not there yet but i will wear her down. she's worried about wind for some reason.

Like [MENTION=148715]kcsaysngo[/MENTION] mentioned, you can buy a wind shield for it ($20). We've used our skottle often since last summer in a variety of conditions and haven't had any problems. If I find that wind becomes a problem, I'll just bend up some flat stock or tell my wife to stand on the other side of it. :thumb:

I look at this photo and makes me feel like of been there before, on that same cliff with the same picture perfect view. Which also makes you realize how small you really are. I'm going to guess the North Rim/ Arizona Strip Run. If so you earn my vote.

You are correct sir. I had a writeup on Expo before their servers crashed, spent about 8 days/500 miles on dirt exploring the trails. Actually started on the North Rim side near Sublime, ended up at Whitmore Canyon.

Looks exactly at the same point, I believe this was either SB or Kanab. Thanks for the vote!
