Looking good. I am about to order those seat covers in the next hour. Right now they are giving the rear cover away for free when you buy the front 2. Did you get the rear as well? I'm interested in seeing the front and rears

Nice build thread man! The bumper's coming along and should turn out nice. I just ripped my tow bar and bumper off yesterday so I tackle that same project.

No I didn't get a rear seat cover, I got a free tailgate cover for a jeep, go figure. I didn't know they made rear seat covers for 4runners, are you sure its not for a jeep?

Well I havn't seen it...My brothers girlfirend lives in the Village too and he took a picture of it and sent it to me hahaa....I had no idea you've been on here the whole time. I thought I was all by my self in Dallas...Seems like everone on here is in So Cal or Colorado... We should organize a meet sometime...

Thats pretty funny, and no you arent alone, although I thought I was alone too for a while. I am confused by this picture:

Are you bolting your bumper to the truck's body with these bolts? Or are these just temporary, to hold things in place while fabricating?

I ask because I don't think you want to bolt the bumper to both the body and the frame.

I ask because I don't think you want to bolt the bumper to both the body and the frame.

They are temporary, but I probably will keep the bolts in there since there is a hole now. They are not bearing any load really, but they do help keep things lined up while fabricating, so I dont see the harm in leaving them bolted in when its all done.

I would not recommend leaving those bolts attached to the body like that. It would lead to more trouble eventually. Those bolts could strip or back out which would mess with the rear hatch.

Good to hear. Glad I could point this out, and you can avoid any potential issues from damaging your sweet rig.
