part supplier asking for VIN for trail edition roof rails order. excuse me, but what the .... i should be allowed to order anything i want. ITs a free country! If i want to order trail edition parts, i will order them. Is there some law forbidding one to do so? Harper did you have this kind of issue. (oh by the way, and thats after I have ordered the trail edition lights, which still are not here -)
A lot of dealers do this. Just call back and try to get someone else, or go in and talk to them. Like harper said, Bubbas.

Ya, I saw those before Mike. Very expensive!Those are driving lights that should only be turned on like your high beams, when nobody is around or offroad. I was thinking about putting those on my Gobi Stealth rack when I get it.
The PIAA's I have up front are actual functioning 2500k yellow Fog lights . It was rainy,misty and foggy going home at 3 in the morning coming home from work the other night and work great. Wouldn't trade them for anything.
I put the one that I have on to test the fit. The fit was perfect so I ordered the other 3,should be here tomorrow or Sat.. I could still get my fingers between the inside tire and the UCA's and exactly flush with the wheel well flares.The mud flap needs a minor trim on the inside or take it off like I did.

I'm in love with this 5th gen I tell ya. It just gets better and better, no offense to the other 5ers out there 
Looks really sharp. Those wheels match the trail edition theme you are going for. I seen in some new pictures you swapped out the bulbs for the running lamps next to the fogs.
If you do not mind me asking, what bulb did you replace those amber ones with. It looks really good. :thanks:

Well ,It is illegal technically as turn signals/DRL's are supposed to be yellow by law.I've did it on my cars for years but don't advise it. Here is how I do it.
Well , the bulbs they take are 1156NA. The NA stands for natural amber and the post on the bulb are'nt straight across from each to stop us from putting clears in. The 1156 bulb is clear and the post are straight across from each other.Well , I just take a file and file one of the post down,about 1/2 to 3/4 of it,not too much as you want it to stick out a little so it keeps the bulb from being loose in the socket. The post is just a guide pin to keep us from putting the wrong bulb in.
Don't mess with this unless you are sure you know what you are doing.

Thanks for the heads up. I have amber bulbs on my truck now, but they are chromed on the outside to hide some of that ugly amber when they are tuned off. Still shine bright through the chrome when one. That is probably what I will do when I get my 4Runner.
Thanks,I'm running the MT's all the time.I rode about 100 miles on them yesterday and love them. I still have the AT's ,was thinking of selling them with the rims or will use them for long trips and winter tires as MT's ,even though M&S rated, are not supposed to be good in snow/ice.
Thanks, These AR Mojave wheels are bombproof and super easy to clean. I was not impressed with the paint job as they are just painted ,like most aftermarket wheels and will scratch easier then if powdercoated.They have to keep the cost down to be competitive I guess but I would still recommend them 100%.
As far as fitting the 305's on aTE . It's all in the having the right rim size. With these,I am getting no rubbing at all with the mudflap removed.I have to do a mudflap mod on that bump on the inside of the mudflap for them to work. But I "pulled" the front inner fender liners forward 1/2-3/4 of an inch instead of cutting them.Basically ,I elongated the attach holes on the front liners about 3/4 " with an exacto knife,pushed them forward and then tightened the bolts. Can't even tell,no rubbing and looks factory.
I only have a 2 inch front Toytec spacer lift but in the market for coilovers to get more.
