Spoke to Jerry as well. As a Business Owner I appreciate that brand of candor and direct communication. No spin just plain talk.
Great Guy, EVEN on a Toyota this is a No-Brainer.
ALL the bells and whistles and 7000+ moving parts - things can go wrong on anything and these days a "minor" problem can and will cost more than this warranty does. I know they are transferrable as well and if history is right, when/if you get rid of your rig IF there is time remaining - You call up and cancel and get a pro rata refund in the mail (I did that once and was pleaseantly surprised).

Finally picked up 4 runner yesterday and we're stoked! Here are the pics!
Black 2012 Limited, tint, hitch, floor/cargo mats, 2 way car starter (awesome by the way), Limited Badges (requested..so you Canucks if you ask you shall receive), and went for the service plan in the end through Toyota...
Observations:
1) Been awhile since the purchase and it drives just like I remember..fantastic. I don't know why people complain about the truck like ride..I think it's very smooth.
2)It goes. I punched it and it moves...again, I've seen the posts where there are complaints.
3)Wife and kiddies love it! Wife wants to drive it ALWAYS...this is gonna be a problem.

Not much right away. Like everyone, these skinny wheels aren't the best but I'm going to ride them out. Going to get a chrome grill cause I like it and then see what else after that.
Officially part of the club now.

EDIT: i just saw a video online from a dealership saying that if you dont use the warranty, you will get your amount refunded back at the end of the warranty? TRUE??
