K&N or TRD intake?

Do they make the TRD Cat-Back for the 15' 4R? I haven't been able to find a part number or anything.... Even the dealership parts counter didnt know about it. Do you have a P/N?

I don't think they have ever made a TRD catback for the 5th Gen.

Trying to decide which one to go with for my 2010 Limited. I have had K&N in the past but was curious to know if anyone had any experience with the TRD

Plenty of opinions here regarding this.. far less in terms if 'facts' or 'proof', but you'll find bits of those around here as well. Heck, some even show positive results! But ignore those silly things like dyno sheets and good sounds cuz you should be keeping an eye on allll those upcoming broken down engine threads due to dirty clogged oily intakes......

I like my TRD, and wouldn't mind Afe either.. They're both designed to suck in cold air like the factory setup. I wouldn't do the K&N short style ones with the open box as those suck in warmer air from the engine bay.

Yes performance intakes may come with a compromise vs OEM, keep it clean with regular maintenance and enjoy your build whichever way you go.
