Also, unless Toyota, the dealer, or the warranty adjuster can prove that your lift directly caused the failure of a given suspension or driveline component they are required to honor their warranty. I have had multiple claims on my 4th gen and the adjuster and I talked about how I liked my lift kit and such without once suggesting they wouldn't cover the issue at hand.
Yes, that is what the law states, but in the real world, you will often have to fight to prove a mod (lift, etc) did not cause a failure. Just because you have a "cool" adjuster, doesn't mean everyone else in the world isn't going to run into a problem getting warranteed. Sometimes, trying a different dealer's service dept may do the trick, but not always.
