KDSS is insane

The KDSS piston only has so much allowable travel, when it is maxed out, so is wheel travel. I recently disconnected my KDSS due to the limiting factor of off road performance.

What's the max travel we can get with KDSS?

I do not have exact numbers, but on up travel, it deceases the travel by several inches, my axle would not hit the bump stops before it was maxes out. For drop-out, it is considerable, with I would say a minimum of 8" of additional travel without the KDSS.

rochmpr does have a long travel setup though. With an extended setup, the kdss won't limit travel.

I have seen an sr5 with an extended setup with no sway bars. That made a big difference.
Nevermind. I think that sr5 had a long travel setup in the rear as well.

I don't disconnect my sway bars and I get plenty of flex. Therefore I don't get out of my truck either unless its to take a photo.
