Hello.

Ive been a member of yotatech for a few years now and just found this site recently and decided to join. I got my first 4runner from my older brother for 800 bucks back in august 2012 and have done a few things to it. ill start posting pictures now.

first trip out after purchase

bought some newer sr5 wheels that i ended up getting rid of.

i moved and used a horse trailer to haul my stuff. it really put the 22re through some stress and unfortunately destroyed all 4 main bearings. i replaced all the bearings and she was as good as new

2nd trip out, older brother testing buoyancy.

new bumper from a 2nd gen 4runner i scored off a guy in lincoln for 100 bucks

sliders i scored off a member here from omaha. i dont remember her username but she pointed me to this site.

i worked on the road building power plants and one of the places we went to was hugoton kansas. when it rained there, the water would end up here and everyone would get their dirt bikes quads and mud trucks out and play in this.

went through schubarth trail before i picked up some wheels/tires in denver.

32s on 10.5 wheels. if you noticed the vent window broken, its because of a pigeon. it flew out in front of me after my 12 hour trip to denver to get the wheels/tires. it actually bounced around through the 4runner and out the open back window.

this is what it looks like in hugoton kansas after a decent rain fall. its flat, and the drainage for the city is the streets. after the mud, a quick run down the streets cleans everything off.

LSPV return line failed so i put this union in along with blocking off the return line up front with a bolt

i quit that job in december 2013 and ended up getting hired with the railroad so im back in lincoln ne now.

heres a body modification a deer made to my 4runner one night. i used a piece of wood and a hammer and was able to beat everything back into place

i bought one of those fj40 canvas covers and really didnt have a good way to put it on a few years ago, so i did some brainstorming and came up with this

i got a piece of a aluminum flat bar about 2in wide and bent it to form around the contour of the body. i used snaps on top and bolted it up. seems to work ok.

these were the original bolts i tried, and they didnt work. they wouldnt snap so i hit up ace hardware and got some screw type fasteners

also since its a DLX, i have no rear speakers. i made some glass copies of the original panels to install. nothing special but they will work for what i want

ruff stuff SOA kit welded on the fj62 axle. so close

this is also going in. 4.8 out of a 99 chevy. waiting on my ls1 accessories to show up along with the ls1 pan kit. wiring harness is being modified by myself. im using lt1swap.com for that and so far it thats been a fun process. i will be using my stock w56 transmission as i have the bellhousing adapter ready to install. waiting for some nice weather and another daily so i can get this show on the road. opcorn:
