I was thinking, since we will be getting a new Toyota Tacoma for the Warden when the 3rd gen comes out and god willing they install a key fob ignition....
can you mix and match key fobs within a manufacturer or only within a model?
it would be super simple to use my key fob for the 4runner to unlock the Tacoma and vice versa.
or is this even possible? I know on remote start/security systems, if I have the same manufacturer (ie: Compustar) , I can use the same key fob on different cars to lock/unlock/remote start as long as I program the key fob to each brain in each car.
