Killer Toy Tops - Bikini Edition

Well that's not too bad of a turnaround time. Still in the 40s here so I'm not too worried about it. Still haven't made up my mind as to which top I really want.
 
You know I saw a few 70s scattered into the forecast here over the next week or so... Maybe spring is actually here. When are you going to half doors?

Last year i jumped the gun a bit on them, so it'll probably be a while. Having no protection from outdoor elements is like a 1-2 month a year thing. 3 max. They also make the interstate ridiculous.

Probably not til June. I did early May last year, and nights were brutal.
 
So I'm wondering if there is a bikini top out there that isn't mesh. I can't tell from any of the pictures on here or ktt's site if the top is mesh or not. I was hoping to see one that could fend off some rain but maybe I will just have to custom make one or modify one of ktt's. It would be awesome to be able to do a little camping/road trip with the top off and not have to be worried about getting soaked.

KTT's sunbrella is not mesh. Also, there's a guy on eBay selling some under the username FMSfab4runner. It looks like the same top I saw a writeup on awhile back on ttora. I believe they use an FJ top.

I hear ya. With those windows stuck, you aren't too far from half doors as it is. Haha.
 
I ordered mine about a week ago and it shipped today! I was expecting it to be a few weeks out, but man I'm excited!!
 
Every 1st gen 4runner should have a cloth option, be it full soft top or bikini top. My truck is getting 13% more head turns with it installed.
