Kind of a Noob Question

Okay, when I bought my 4runner it had top plate spacers in the front. Now I'm wanting to upgrade the front suspension to either 883s or the Eibach coilovers or Econo-adjustable by SS. I know for both coilovers you have to provide your own top plate. So here's my question, do the top plate spacers replace the OEM top plates? If they do I'd have to either buy OEM top plates or buy the toytec ultimates which come with their own top plate. I'm just wanting to make sure before I go and drop $600. Thanks.

Oh my... Anyway, to answer your question, the top plate spacer is exactly like it sounds, it is a spacer on top of your top plate. So you have a top plate.
