i can't seem to find a passenger side shot but its basically the same with an extra 90 in towards the rig. passenger side is bent due to wiper fluid reservoir. both attach to sway bar frame mounts.

**Edit**
Here ya go

That's what I thought!.. it looked like it was sitting in a fashion extending beyond the inner wheel well. Pretty nice solution with the bracket though. Factory bolt holes? Welded? Other?

Okki

it uses allen head bolts that sit flat with the plate and then there are second forward set of threaded holes for your sway bar mount brackets. it works as a reservoir mount and sway bar relocation.

:snacker:

I see you're in the OC, did you do the install yourself or took it to a shop?

Disregard, looks like King is working on your truck. Nice

Prob gonna be going the same route with my 13 TE.

Just so you know (because i didnt before i started in on this), the Trail Editions with KDSS do not have the threaded inserts in the frame to use the KING reservoir brackets. I had to have a shop weld in some reservoir mounts on the outside of the frame.

Good looking out, thanks. I'm gonna need all the knowledge I can get on here.

Well guys dropped off my 14 with King once again. I have to pick it up wed afternoon and then I'll update you guys with any changes to the coilovers.

I am extremely satisfied with the updated resi mounts! Now per King these mounts wont be available for at least another month.

Nice. Why still running stock UCAs? It is much easier to install coilovers if you remove the UCA, so it makes sense to do both at the same time, and only align once.

I wanted to so bad but King requested that I leave it stock for R&D purposes. I do have icon ucas and will be installed shortly.

Interesting. The stock UCAs will probably limit the down travel (compared to other aftermarket coilovers), and limit alignment adjustability to the bottom end of OEM spec, at best. I would expect King to require aftermarket UCAs.

These shocks are marketed as "OEM Performance Series" so it makes sense they would want the stock
UCAs. But I agree that there's no point to keep them stock.

Having just out those kings on there I have to say that it makes absolutely no difference if the uca arm is there or not during installation. While I agree that it's the perfect time to do it, I don't want someone getting discouraged from putting on the coilovers without doing UCA at that time.

They do limit down travel by 3/4 of an inch by my measurements. That is no different than any other aftermarket coil over. I was able to align to my specs with no issues though.

What bummed me out was the fact that they backed off some of the preload due to the stance that was achieved with just the coilovers. They want more of a level stance and not a prerunner stance. The crappy side for me is the fact that I'm installing my icon rear springs soon and will have to re adjust the coilovers. Worst part you have to remove the coilover for adjustment!!! BLOWS!

King adjustment...

So after King was done installing my shocks they left my coilovers with no preload at all! My question is does anybody know how much lift this is providing?

Second, the instructions mention 5 turns equals 1" does this mean in my case its about 3" of lift total?

The truck sits pretty level at this time...here is a pic of my coilovers
