yea i have yokahama a/t's right now there good but the m/t's look awesome!

I like the build so far Kolby... these pictures were a trip when I first saw them. What a transformation. The paint looks pretty nice based on your pics.
BTW.... The item that you removed below is your EFI RELAY, not your efi FUSE... the fuses are the little guys to the left of the relays in the top picture quoted below. If you flip the lid of your fuse box over, it should have a map of the fuse locations that will help you locate the EFI FUSE in the future.
On a side note, how is the paint holding up on your front valence, below the bumper? I've considered painting that peice to match the body on my '97 but I never went for it because I figured it would get chipped up by road debris quickly.

Thanks for the complements, It has been a total transformation. It's wierd looking back at it now. Thanks for the info on the fuse, I'll just replace that part on the write-up. The paint down there is holding up really well and still looks great! No to little chips down there but the paint on the mudflaps is pealing quickly but oh well.

Dude, that sucks bout getting rear-ended. Hope you got their number. I rear ended one of the folks from work over the summer. I already had damage from someone else, so I claimed it, and have been dragging tail to get the new hatch installed. If you look around, you can pick one up for around 650.
BTW, the truck is looking good. Did you paint the door jams? I thought about paying someone to paint mine, but think it may fun to pull it apart myself.

I hope that I don't need to get a whole new hatch, but maybe. I wonder if I should get a hilux surf hatch if I need to replace it. I do need a new bumper and tow hitch. The door jambs are still green but I kind of like it, its hard to notice and it wasn't going to be worth the extra $600 to get it done.

I know that usually once that rear hatch is hit, it's done. Such thin metal back there it is next to impossible to beat out. Good luck getting a Surf hatch. You may try Canada for junk yards, it seems they can import them easier, so you may be able to find parts.
$600 is steep to get the jambs done, what about getting a can or two of color match?

Well, I guess wish me luck on the rear hatch. I could get a few cans of color match but the jambs don't bother me that bad anyway. Maaco was going to charge a extra $600 to paint the jambs and under the hood, I said hell no.

Finally I put the truck in the shop Monday at the local service king to get that damage fixed, and luckily on the person that wrecked into me's insurance. They said that I will get it back in a week. They are replacing the front and rear bumper, the tow hitch, and fixing the rear hatch. The only issue now is, I can't decide on what to do to the truck next! There are so many things.
To Do:
Lift
Tires
Roof rack
ISR mod
LED Brake lights
Retrofit Heads
Front/rear bumper
CB radio
new head unit
snorkel
magnaflow
build tool box in back
fix break issue (tundra break mod?)
fix starter issue
get sport edition hood
so much more that I haven't thought of yet

Removed carpet from cargo area

Liberated it from driveway doom

Since firestone wants $500 dollars to do the work, I'll just pick up two wheel cylinders at autozone at 14 bucks a piece and throw them in myself. So anybody know any of tutorials or advice out there that would help me with this job? Thanks.

Ok just a little update for the week. I ordered everything for the CB radio installation that michael833 said he'll help me with. I went ahead and got a cobra 18 so it can go right under the head unit. I loved that the cobra 19 fits right in the ash tray area but the weather radio on the cobra 18 sold me on that. I also got the outdoor logic antenna mount and a red 5' firestik antenna. I'm hoping that the antenna doesn't look goofy being 5' long but we'll see. On another note, the 4runner is still in the body shop and I'm sick of waiting:hungry:. Since I was next door at Toyota buying starter contacts, I popped in there the other day to see how the progress is going on the day that it was supposed to be finished and snapped some pics.

I'm also kind of digging the front like this but it looks a little... empty. C'mon addicted winch bumper! I also never mentioned on this thread that obviously the front skid is painted silver, I had maaco do that. I will post some pics when she's released.

They installed a new rear bumper, new front bumper, a new Curt tow hitch, and exhaust piping.

That same day I stuck on two oakley stickers and a combichrist sticker.
The oakley "O" is on the left rear quarter window, the combichrist sticker is on the right rear quarter panel window, and the oakley word logo in the rear window. I'm really pleased with these and I really dig that the combichrist sticker is matte black so its kind of ghostly. Some pics-

Michael833 came over and helped me install my cobra 18. And by help I mean greatly helped, I wouldn't have been able to finish so quick if he wasn't there. He's a really nice guy and I'm thankful that he helped out.

He let me see what my antenna looks like mounted with his drifter mount because my outdoor logic one had not come in yet.

And here it is all installed.

Then only a week ago my outdoor logic mount finally came in. And Yes IT DOES RUB THE HATCH, well on mine anyway.

I am really happy how everything turned out. The only thing is that I may need to get a 4ft antenna instead of this 5 ft, It's HUGE!

Great build man! Your 4runner has come a long way since you have bought it. It looks like you live in the area I am moving back to. I will be in fry and west little york area. We will have to get together and go wheeling. Looks like your guys need a 4x4 in the group lol
