I also just got the CBI light mounts.
Have lights on the way from Welcome to Miami OffRoad 4WD LLC - have two light bars from then. Awesome quality ,good customer service and good warranty.
Still waiting on front savage bumper and rear.
Finished. Not the prettiest. But it ain't the ugliest. It works. The volume of box is small!!! But it bumps. After all it's only a 10". Different songs sound different. Maybe in future I'll do a fiber glass box and have more volume. On 97 the storage comportment is smaller then newer 4runners also. So I couldn't really figure out how to cover my cut around the trim. Because the box isn't part of the trim piece. But it looks good honestly. It's not a show car. Also very very small but powerful 5 channel kenwood amp
. Which is powering my door speakers and sub.Installed and wired my dual LED lights.
I have a front 41.5 led bar and rear 21.5 bar from this company. Their good quality with a good warranty.

For the passenger side light. I ran the light wire right along where the windshield fluid tube is. Perfect if you ask me. Clean and no wires in the engine.

Some POR15 Protection from water, mud and salt.
How's this for rust protection. I degreased the rocker panels under. And por15 !!!
Like I said. Didn't really have rust. But with POR15 metal prep you can coat smooth metal. So I wanted extra protection from water, mud and salt.
I used por15 marine cleaner and por15 metal prep ( shit burns !!!)
This is before degreasing it. It was covered with fluid film.
This is the back of the wheel. There was minor rust developing. In all my truck being from NJ is very clean. But as everything, it rusts. And believe me. I have done everything to fix it and prevent it. Except that I didn't do this before. Before I focused mostly on frame. Anyways....
After degreasing it. And washing it with water. Those are the steps according to por15.
You can see some sanded areas. Sorry I know it's hard to see.
And POR15. Along the whole side. Both sides driver and passenger and rear.

Haha wait. You know about it ? In NJ white 4Runner. Guy posted it on north east 4Runner on fb. I'm afraid to put a supercharger. Afraid that it will beat the motor up

Dude, how many Scramble's do you know??? He posted that truck in May, I pulled it up last week asked about the locker. I was going to take the whole truck. I have a motor for it & was gonna switch rear ends with mine & then sell it. Stephen beat me to it! Bastard!
So the other day I tackled few things out of the way. I ran 2 wires to one of the two fuse boxes. Ran it to the blue sea box under the hood. Which I use for small accessories. 1 wire is for CB radio that will go in later. And the wire is power source for a USB rocker switch style charger.
I did not use a relay. I don't think it needs a relay. Considering that the OEM cigarette outlet doesn't run of a relay. However my USB outlet is on a 5 amp fuse. And wires to a ON/OFF switch. Actually pretty cool switch made by 3M. You can hook up 2 separate loads on one switch. Anyways, here are some photos of the project.
I have 2 4g wires going through my grommet and few other small wires. Lol

Used a plastic wire loom to cover up the 2 new wires and few old wires. I believe if I remember correctly, I have CB radio power wire, USB outlet, hood LED light, and my auto dim mirror wires in it.
Here you can see my 2 100amp breakers. Perfectly tucked away and easy access in case they pop. Also you can see the 4 gauge wires for the breakers. And of course the new wires in the plastic wire loom.
Everything all nicley back together tucked and zip tied together
Box is all labeled nicley.
Kicker fuse holder for my 5 channel amp. Which is tucked in the curve inside the engine bay/fender with Velcro. Can't even tell it is there.
The switch that controls the USB outlet.

I also changed my green blinker lights into blue led ones. Because I have green led odometer. I want some pop.
Picked up these KC lights from a member here locally for $60. Might use them might not. Not sure yet.
Got the cobra CB radio of a truck that I split with my friend $350 each. And I'm getting the elocker and front diff out of it also. That will go on my truck later on.
Next update will have the new savage rear swing out bumper. Should be on by end of this week

Yea lol. I know him. He's a local. Good guy. Sorry bud.... The rear axle has some rust man. My plan is to change on both sides the bearing and seals. And sand blast it or wire wheel and por15 it.

I was a little worried buying it sight unseen because of the rust. I might just buy an e-locker housing used or reman & add a locker. I'm in no rush but if I come across a good deal I'll grab it. I hope it works out for you. We need to get a Raush Creek trip going.

Installed today.
The instructions aren't that good. The video they have on how to install the swing out shows them bolting the latch and then on the other part they have the carrier on top of the latch. So you have remove the bolts and but the carrier over it. Just frustrating lol. I wish they would label each back with bolts as to where they go. There are bolts with few different sizes in one bag and you can confuse your self. After all you want to install just like the guy who made it. But I love it. It's sick !!!!
Next is to install my older rock sliders and get new rim and tire.
