Got the cobra CB radio of a truck that I split with my friend $350 each. And I'm getting the elocker and front diff out of it also. That will go on my truck later on.

Installed the same style CB in mine yesterday, fit perfectly in the (old) ashtray location. Pretty easy to see what I did, cut the back out, a little trimming on the sides to fit and add Velcro.

Its the little things that I like to see to spark ideas, like the placement of the TRD sticker at the top of the door. Nice touch.

So I finally relocated my license plate. And made a new harness for the rear license plate light and fixed my trailer wires. The way I wired my license plate light is, I used a connector. So if I want to take the bumper of. I can go under the truck, cut the zip ties and simply unplug the connector and take the bumper of.





Ran the wire like this. And used this thing that you can place it anywhere on flat area and zip tie your wires to it. I don't know what it's called though.




You can the hitch wires in the black plastic wire room and zip tied right next to it is the license plate harness. One wire is for power. Which I T taped into the trailer harness. And the wire I taped into was BROWN. And right next to it I hooked up the ground. There's a bolt that has few grounds already hooked up to it. Which was easy.





Went to Home Depot and picked up this stuff. It's for doors or windows. One side is sticky and the other is soft. Which is perfect to put on the back of the license plates. To eliminate rattle and so it doesn't scratch the bumper. Also when you close the rear tire carrier. Without the tape, it would rattle.



Front license plates. Drilled new holes so I could mount it. Temporarily blocking the winch area on front savage bumper.



Rear license plates.


No more rattle and no scratches.

Simple and easy way to mount your phone. And actually holds up good on bumpy roads. I mounted it on the drink tray. Have a choice of pulling it out close to you. You can still put your drinks, doesn't block much of the vent or the clock. And close to the charging port.

Little update. Nothing serious. Just few photos of how the truck is now. I did wire in fuel pump kill switch. And changed the driver side door weather seal. Got s good one from junk yard.

Later to come will be elocker swap. Which I already have.

Most likely ordering new suspension by end of the month. ICON front and rear with remote reservoir CDC. Will be selling my old lift kit.

Need to order spare tire

And winch

Also have rock sliders that will go on

( had wrist surgery, so truck will sitting for more then few months. Can't really shift gears with broken wrist )

Been sitting home due to broken wrist. Being iron worker comes danger. So I'm been searching the Internet "trying to save money" lol. So once I recieve my ICON CDC I'm going to reinforce the spindle. Going to be ordering slowly few parts.

Picked up a shackle from tractor supply store. 3/4 shackle 7/8 pin. Was like $15. Wanted to add some color so painted the shackle green and pin red.

I love it. They are #194 single led. If you get anything with more led is in. It's way to bright and it's all in your face.

I also have my blinkers in blue led.

Yes it is very easy. Just remove the odometer and swap the bulbs. If you backtrack a page or two. There's a pic of the blinker arrows in blue led. Again I used a single led bulb. Because like I said there are multiple different types of bulbs. For example there is #194 with 1 led on it. Then there is same bulb with 5 led on it. Much much more brighter. The blinker is #74. Also your e brake, check engine ect... Is #74.

Here is a pic I took to show you the difference between #194 bulbs that are different. The bulb on the left ( rpm) is a 5 led #194. The bulb on the right (mph) is 1 led #194.

Believe me. At night. It feels like you are next to a big flat screen tv with the 5 led bulb. I like to be able to enjoy the led color, but not to the point where everyone can see my face and what I'm doing at night.

Not going into details. But Google 4Runner led swap and you'll find what you want.

Installed this BOLT hitch receiver lock. Beauty is that it uses your factory Toyota key. But you can only program it ONE time. But it's. Cool. Eliminates extra keys. Was $30 from eBay. They had these at pep boys but not for Toyota.




Also ordered icon 2.5 remote resi CDC front and back shocks today.

Nothing new. Just wanted to share some photos and my friends BMW 89 325is. Has 1Jzgte. All the work has been done by my friend. EVERYTHING! welding, aluminum, metal. Custom engine mounts, custom oil pan, drive shaft, inter cooler pipes, brake lines ect... It had 2jz engine harness and ECU. I helped him wire the ECU in. All the cluster lights work. Next will be finishing up on restoring his 93 2jz single turbo.
