I just have the tire shop flip my tires on the rims every other rotation. Seems to help a bit. You can't rocket around corners but then again it ain't a race car either lol but welcome to the world of actually flexing out your front end

They're all over Ebay. Here's one: 36 inch 234W CREE LED Spot Flood Combo LED 4WD Work Light Bar Brighter 120W 180W | eBay
You can ask for a spot, spot/flood combo, or flood beam. At least you could with the guy I ordered from. I went with all spot.
The black finish on the light bar will fade to gold, but the light bar still works fine. I plan to paint mine back to black and everything should be fine again.

And while I was out there, I test fitted my new Trasharoo:
It's going to be very useful on camping trips. I found out the hard way that it's not a good idea to put trash bags, full of mostly empty beer cans (among other things), on the roof rack. Whatever was dripping out of those bags destroyed my paint on the roof in some spots lol. The Trasharoo should solve that though.

Hey great build, truck is looking great. Had a quick question about the 8 wraps, how much have they settled if at all? Also other than the bumper/tire carrier, are you carrying any other weight in the back?

Thanks! I just went out and took another set of hub to fender measurements. Looks like the passenger side might have settled a tiny bit, it's around 26.25" now. Driver side is pretty much the same, a tad under 27" at the moment, and I have about the same amount of gas as I did when I first measured.
I don't really carry much weight besides the bumper/tire carrier. Maybe around 35-40 lbs counting the compressor and recovery gear that's always in there.

So I go out to my 4runner tonight to get a couple things taken care of before a weekend of epic runs, and I see this:
I'm not an expert or anything, but I'm pretty sure that's supposed to be straight haha. There's some minor scrapes on the bottom of the bar, but nothing that looks like it could have bent it like that.
How did I manage to do this? Anyone have any ideas? [MENTION=92884]snivilous[/MENTION] you have any ideas?

Well that doesn't look right, wonder if you side loaded it hard enough to bend it like that. i think it would be pretty hard to find that with a rock without getting hung up on the axle first.

Holy shit! Well the panhard bar only works in tension and compression obviously (as all pinned-pinned members do) and obviously is only meant to keep the axle from moving side to side, so if it got buckled from being compressed part of it would start to kick out. BUT the only way that would happen it seems would be if you got a HUGE side loading on your axle (or the body) and it was so violent the body/axle couldn't move fast enough so it partially buckled which honestly I don't see how that would happen. Also, I haven't learned how to do buckling analysis but it would seem it would buckle in the middle, not like 1/3 of the way down...
So with that in mind it would seem like it got bent some other way, which from the second picture it almost looks like it's slightly bent forward but maybe that's from the camera angle. I would put my money on you backing or somehow landing on the panhard which bent it up like that. My other idea was from the first picture if it got caught on the differential and flexed it would try to bend it halfway from the diff to the frame mount but that's insanely unlikely too. It seems hard to go and land only on the panhard with all the other shit on the axle, but it seems possible and more likely than anything else. Ever remember any weird bangs from back there?
I think you'll be fine in the meantime, but I would be careful driving too since anytime you turn the panhard is being worked, probably more so than when you are offroading since when offroad the rear tires will slip; though obviously you should get it fixed
You're quite the beast at breaking links :boxer:P.S. - That rear cross member is really throwing me off, I didn't know it was angled down so much haha
