Lake Powell Advice

Hey everyone,

Not T4R related but hoping I can get some advice. I'm looking into planning my bachelor party and want to do it on Lake Powell. I'm getting married late May 2019 so we would have to go either April or Early May.

Anyone know what its like on Lake Powell during those dates? Is it even worth looking into?

Thanks in advance!

The water temperature would most likely be low 60's to low 70's and the air temperature should be low-mid 80's as a high. That time frame is still off-season on the lake, so it probably won't be too busy. Hope that helps.

what are you doing at the lake? renting a house boat or boats, jet skis? or staying at the hotel? If you are renting a house boat be careful. It is a lot of work if the water level is rising and dropping a lot (sometimes at lake powell it does due to the dam). I would recommend to have at least 1 person who has done it before. there is a lot that goes into it as far as driving it to where you are camping, and picking a good camping spot, beaching the house boat, and keeping it secure with the changing water levels. It is a massive lake and you have to respect the lake. A lot can change very quickly with weather and other people nearby. All things aside though it is an awesome lake and you can have lots of fun. A bachelor party there would be awesome.
