Largest BFG A/T KO on stock TE

Hi all,

I just purchased a 2012 TE and love it to death but i want to upgrade the dunlop tires. Does anyone know what is the largest bfg a/t ko's i can purchase on the stock suspension without conflicts or rubbing? Ive read that 285/70/17 work well but there is minor rubbing. Any info would be great. Thanks!

You may have to move the front of the liner a bit if they rub at full lock, but that only takes a minute or too.

Have fun. The truck will feel a lot different. Post some pics too.
 
Youre right. The front left does rub a bit at full lock. Is there a guide on how to move the front fender liner or is it just unbolting it and redrilling new holes? Will post pics when i get to a comp. Can only use my phone for now.
 
There are a couple of screws on the front of the liner in front of the wheel well. Just unscrew and push the liner forward, then screw them back in. They will screw through the thin plastic. That is what I did, no drilling.
 
Worked perfect! Thanks all for the help. Took less than five min and no more rubbing :)

I'm in same position. thinking these might make the truck look decent without a lift.

Edit:

I love them. Road noise if very minimal and it is still a very comfortable ride. Very pleased with the upgrade.

Ok so this is looking from the ground up? So you are only moving the bottom of the liner in more, but not touching the area where the liner connects to the side fender lip?
