LawnDart's Build Thread

So as I mentioned in the other thread "what did you do today/etc" CBI didn't include the latch, so tomorrow we're installing the latch on the bumper, and can then install the spare tire, and jerry can.

ALMOST done.

Next month it gets the diff breather mod, air compressor, and bumper lights. HOPING the fender flares are out by then, but we shall see.

I got an email back from BW saying they aim to have the fender flares out by Nov. :bored:

Love this build and I also like hunting around on the other thread for your updates.

Can't wait to see the bumper complete.

Danke. So here it is with the bumper.

And here's the next round for October. This will wrap up the build for the majority of the year. The ARB snorkel is confirmed as not shipping till December, so I'll likely install that after christmas. Fender flares are "soon".

What's left:
-ARB Air Compressor + Wiring
-Rear Rigid D2 Dually Floods in the bumper
-Diff. Breather Mod
-Bigger battery
-Adjust front coilover shocks to compensate for that + re-allignment
-Painting the exhaust black

That thing is amazing. Hands down best 5th gen I have ever seen. I am so mad at myself for not waiting for the Inferno TRD Pro...

That rear bumper is AWESOME!

Quick question... Did you have to do any drilling to wire up the LED bar in the front? And how did you run the wires?

Thanks man. Wait till it gets a snorkel and fender flares!

We ran the wires up through the roof, same with the rear lights.

Love love love the build. Kudos on everything. Do you mind sharing info regarding what rigids you used for the factory fog light location and how you mounted them in there? Are there brackets that you can get? Any closeup pics of them? Thanks.

They're the amber dually lights. Total Automotive sells them as a kit.

Regular or spots? I found the regular just threw light everywhere but not enough to make a difference in front of me. I currently have the amber spots, mine are in my lower grill though and I retained factory fogs so I just use them in snow mostly. I sometimes think about Amber D2's but fear the light would spread too much even though there would be more.

Truck is looking amazing, kinda missing something though... Oh yeah that snorkel!

Spots.

I emailed with Duffy Biggs today and he said, "Check back with us in December, we should have more info." So i'm thinking december or january. Oh well. But yes this will get a snorkel.

This I got to see....

I'm sure I will run into this bad ass ride sometime and cannot wait to see it in person. Just too bloody cool. Doesn't fit my needs, but I can appreciate the effort. Well done....
