LC coil spring Color codes

ok,

so found some info on the different color codes found on LC fj80, fjz80 and LX470 coils,

not sure which are which, but

I want to know what color code you have if you have LC coils...

Im going to attempt to cross reference this info with toyota to get part #s to make this much clearer for those trying to order specific wraps...

Im trying to get some info compiled, so whats the verdict! what color code are on you LC coils and what are your measurements from middle of the wheel hub to the fender??

Height/color code/wraps

21" Blue Pink White 9.25 wraps
21" Grey Orange White 9.25 wraps

20.25" Blue Yellow White 8.75 wraps-one of these is a confirmed LX450

19.5" Green Yellow White 8.25 wraps-one of these is a confirmed LX450

19.5" Purple Green White 8 wraps

19.25" Double Purple Dark Blue White 8 wraps

19" Double Purple Light Blue White 7.5 wraps

18.5" Double Purple Grey White 7.5 wraps

18 7/8" Orange Orange White 7.75 wraps


From what we could tell all of the springs use about the same gauge wire. only 2 of these were from an LX450 so the LC and LX have springs in common at some point year like CDan has been saying all along, unfortunately I do not know what year belongs to what color code."

Good timing - I need this info, not that I can contribute anything but when it comes time to order the coils this should make it fairly straight forward.

I think that Katy ROCKI TOP AUTO (my wifes best friend) was shipping them for about 80$ a pair,

I know locally here there are shops in denver that have them for like 60$ a pair if you can pick them up.

I get mine from katy though.

Im gonna go look and see if I can see the color codes on mine, cuz Im sitting right about 39.5 in the back with mine, I think Steeze is about the same.

i didn't get a picture but i have purple green white on the drivers side and orange orange white on the passenger. i think there is a little gangsta lean to the passenger but its not bad. i was at 34 inches ground to fender before the lift and i am now at about 39.5. i did have sagging springs though so i would say i got about 4.5 inches of lift

Guess what I have?!

I have the 9.25 wrap coils (blue/pink/white and grey/orange/white) They came off a 1991 LC. I'm picking up another set of coils from a 97 and I'll post up the color codes and number of wraps of those. I'm gonna try and install both of these and see which height I like best I also have TRD Tundra coilovers with the yellow billies on hold and should be picking them up Friday so I can finally get my lift started

You can't see the blue or the grey paint spot on the coil because I didn't clean them off thinking there were only 2 colors per coil like the TRD tundras.
