Thanks man! I appreciate it and here is the plasti dipped parts. The front lower plastic I used some stuff called bumper renewel and it was black paint and same for the back the "step" part was the same paint. The emblems, grill and plastic above the front Chrome bumper was all plasti dippd...the bumper renewel stuff is flaking off

O and for the license plate holder...its two tone because i was showing my friend how the Plasti Dip would peal off if he didnt like it and have been to lazy to re-do it. I am going to have to re-do my rims but i may use this "rust tough" paint my friend uses it and says its awesome, they have it in Gloss, semi gloss and flat.

When you used that "Bumper Renewal" was your plastic trim still black-ish? Mine has faded to such a light gray that I'm hesitant to try that stuff. Your grille turned out really well....Dammit, I think I have to add that job to my list now too!

Yea it was the bumper renewel it was a faded gray also! But yea i sprayed it on there. Im not going to recommend it to you though because its like...chipping off in some spots idk why. The grill on the other hand was all plastidip!

You can actually see the missing paint now that i looked (grill shot) Look where the License Plate is and look to the right of it you can see the light gray where the black stuff came off.

Thanks for letting me know about the longevity of that renewal stuff. You have made me feel better about ordering new tube bumpers, front and back :guitar3:

I'll still have to do the grille though, this truck is shedding chrome rapidly!

Yea man no problem! And my Chrome is doing the same the rust on the back bumper suckssss! And I plastidippd the Grille it was easy! What i did was put a trash bag on the inside of the Engine bay so the Plasti dip did not get on the radiatior!

Once you figure out how the clips work that hold on the grille, it's actually way easier to remove it & paint than leave it on & mask around and behind it.

I recommend the product from this thread. 3 months later (and 10+ car washes) and it looks brand new.
