LED interior lights

Ok those guys are a bunch of clowns. After getting blown off at first and finally convincing them to look into their kit because it was wrong I made the purchase, the premium base kit and all the add on bulbs. It showed up today.... just the base kit, none of the add on bulbs I paid for.

Not impressed.

Sounds like you went through alot of trouble and even tried to inform the seller but still ended up with disappointment. I grabbed the bulb reference numbers and pieced together what I needed from Vleds.com since I wanted consistent color (5k) on all my lights. They missed a few connectors with the initial order, acknowledged their mistake and expedited the missing parts to me. Great CS and I have had zero issues with their bulbs. I am running a total of 4 of their circuit board lights for the dome and hatch and they are plenty bright. YMMV

What are the bulb reference numbers? I'd like to order them too.
How much did it cost? Thank you!

Just use the Osram/Sylvania Lamp Replacement Guide to get all the bulb numbers (types) that you need.

Lamp Replacement Guide Home

Total for 2 map lights, 1 dome light, 2 hatch lights, 2 courtesy door lights the total came out to ~$60.

Prices will vary depending which type of 194 replacement bulb you go with from VLEDs.

Ordered the premium kit with the added vanity and license plate lights for $128.72.

I got the whole kit off ebay for less than $20 shipped. I will post the sellers name when I get home. Have had them for over a year with no issues.

Why are these LEDs like 7x cheaper than the other LEDs everyone is mentioning on here?
No idea. I had the same set in my fourth gen tho and never had a problem. They were cheap, bright, and lasted over a year. For $20, you can't go wrong.

Because cheap LED flicker as they as dim on and off, they malfunction in severe cold, they use cheaper lower quality diodes that put out less light and and color temp is inconsistent from bulb to bulb, the festoon type bulbs have a tendency to bend where the metal contacts meet the board, and it's not uncommon for the them to have an afterglow (very faint glow when turned off), plus they trigger bulb warning lights on cars with cold monitoring. I've tried 2 sets of cheap LEDs in other vehicles and decided to just spend some money and do it right, once, this time.

I didn't experience any of those issues with mine. Several 4th gen owners have the same kit I did and I never saw a complaint about their performance. It's your money and if you feel it's worth the $$ to spend almost $150 on bulbs you can get for $20, by all means have at it. I was very happy with them on my 4th and will be installing them on my 5th this weekend.

Not getting defensive, I'm stating facts and providing anecdotes to back up my earlier post. As stated, it's your money, I could care less what other people do with their cash but if I could spend $20 and accomplish the same goal as spending $150, I'll go the $20 route every time.

Just ordered the cheaper ones myself. Should be in next week. Does the cheaper one include lights that will fit the puddle mirror lights?

Like the look of your 4runner. What size tires are those? Do you have a lift? Is yours 4WD? How much did your mpg suffer after the switch?

I have a 2013 limited 4WD and am looking for bigger tires (possibly w/ modest 1.5" spacer lift)

thank you sir! I have the traxxda 3/1.25" spacer lift and I am running DynaPro 285/55/20's. The ride doesn't suffer much but I did lose about 2mpg.. :ybrick:

I also have the '13 Limited 4WD
