LED interior lights

285s fit on those 7" wide wheels?

they're actually 20x7J which my shop here says they measured them at 7.5". Yes, they work fine. There are quite a few of us on the forum running 285/55/20's. My local shop here in Birmingham has installed 285's on several 4runners here (or so they say).

Ok, I thought the widest we could go was 275. I think I will stick w/ 275 and a higher sidewall for less negative effect on my MPG

Nah, you can run 285's. 275/55 are good if you don't add a leveling kit. If you add a leveling kit I would go with 285/55 personally. There is someone on here with a 14' LE with 285/60 on the stock 20's. Looks amazing but I cant remember who's it is.

Here's a better picture of mine.

No idea. I had the same set in my fourth gen tho and never had a problem. They were cheap, bright, and lasted over a year. For $20, you can't go wrong.

Does this mean that some of them failed at some point? If so, how?

I switched out my GX interior lights to LED from PFrans LED kit, it should be the same as a 4runner, 2 map lights, 4 door lights, and two rear dome lights replaced with SMD LED panels
