i just bought a kit from these guys. the dome light doesn't work/fit, half the courtesy bulbs don't work and one of the rear cargo lights don't work
they are 0% brighter than the stock bulbs, just whiter
haven't emailed them but kinda bummed.

I'm sorry that happened to you, but call them. Their support number is all over every bag in the box. I'm sure they'll want to make it right for you.

jasonv, make sure you check the connections for the LEDs that arent working. I bought a kit from those guys and had to move around a few of the connector pins. after i did that everything was good to go. The dome light is a tight fit but you should be able to get it in there.

Yeah, LEDs only work in one orientation. If you haven't been able to make them come on at all then flip them around and try that
^ so those ended up to be just as dim as the stock bulbs. Only difference was the color. Ended up putting those bulbs for the license plate. Oh well $2 gamble that I lost.

OP didn't say whether his were dual polarity or not. Which is why I clarified the particular one's I purchased only work in one direction, in case the OP wasn't aware there are single and dual polarity bulbs. :shrug: Just throwing some possibilities out there.
all the ones that don't work have been flipped, pinched, squeezed, massaged etc and tried in several different locations.
don't buy from precision. in fact skip this altogether. its not brighter. just whiter. any perception that its "brighter" at all is in your mind only.
i'll eventually call them. but probably only to tell them to **** off. how hard is it to sell lights that work?
Wow, prepare to be disappointed in life then. Behind every company is human beings who occasionally make mistakes. It's how a company deals with those mistakes that they should be judged.
Obviously if a company is making more mistakes than getting it right then that's an issue that needs to be addressed. You just go on and continue to disparage companies without giving them an opportunity to make it right and see how things go for you...

That being said, I have done a partial LED conversion but I got some LED's that were slightly the wrong size (cheap ebay LED's), so I have to order different ones, still deciding what I want to do.

I think that's called warm white when you're looking for the LED's. I thought about trying that out as well.
i come from a world where people are supposed do shit right the first time. I'm a busy guy and its not worth my time to chase down some clowns over part of a 70.00 ish dollar order. I'll simply never do business with them again and I'll let anyone know who asks that they should probably be avoided.
I'm not disparaging anyone (especially not companie"S" since i've only mentioned one), i've told the truth and they are completely responsible for sending me defective items. Its not my responsibillity to help them get it right.

Fair enough. I just figured since everyone else in this thread who has used that company has had a good experience then you may be the unlucky one who got a mis-shipped order or defective parts. It doesn't take long to send a message to them explaining your problem. You may be surprised at the outcome.
Literally took me 5 minutes and a pair of pliers to get the dome light to work.
You sound miserable. And would rather waste money than spend 10 minutes on the phone cause you are so busy. lol

I spent 10 or 15 working on the dome light. I could get it to stay for short periods but it always popped out. Went back and got panels with an adapter. Much brighter and it never pops out.

well personally I bought from vleds. they are way more expensive than anyone else but usually they have better stuff and the ones I got where dual polarity.
I know a lot of people have used superbrite and they are cheaper and I haven't heard much negative on the forums.
but do be careful on picking out colors on superbriteleds.com
warm white = 2700-3000k
white = 5k
cool white = 6k

I installed the full kit in about 30 minutes (not including the puddle lights-they came with the kit but the TRDPro doesn't have that option).
The LEDS shown are the 6000k.
The Toyota 4Runner Interior LED Package Includes:
Map (2) + Dome (1) + Courtesy (6) + Trunk (2)
I also purchased the vanity mirror, reverse and license plate LED's plus the tools. I would recommend spending a couple of bucks on the tools.
The youtube video is a big time saver, watch it.
The photos show the LED and Halogen. The interior is just the map lights.
