lets see your interior mods

I checked my 2018 ORP for any metal in the location you show your magnetic mic mount and it is all plastic. Did you mount a metal plate behind the plastic?
Thanks

I would expect the mount is attached with double sided tape, the magnet part is for holding the mic

I have my Diamond K400 mounted the same way in the same location and it has worked great for the past couple of years. It's the perfect spot for not having radio interference and also depending on your antenna length you can still fit in most garages, etc. Of course we all put the big antenna on for our outdoor excursions! And don't forget to remove at the automatic car wash!

Ha, yeah thats why I ended up getting that firestik quick disconnect so i dont have to unscrew the antenna everytime I need to remove it.

Not really a mod, but an accessory. When I got my t4r, I found the door armrest too low. Found this on Amazon and have been using it for months - it makes all the difference in the world for me. Much more comfortable, especially on long drives.

It's attached by velcro, and yes, I stuck the velcro adhesive directly to my limited's leather. The leather in these trucks are so impregnated and plasticized, that I'm not too worried about damage if I ever remove it...

I used an old sock, packed with syrofoam sheets packing, and slide it forward in thearm rest when not in use.

effeybravo could you post a picture of how you have the antenna cable routed to rear hatch. going to install this very soon. and yeah about antenna length I got a different roof rack so I could park in garage again. my 4runner had an ARB rack I had to take off and replaced with prinsu.

I like the placement of the Ram Ball. I used a heavy 1” Ram Ball with windshield mount for my phone on a recent trip down south. Able to shoot videos and pictures with the camera above dash level.
Where you have your Ram Ball mounted to the right of the vent has always seemed to be the most logical place to me, just been reluctant to drill a hole in the dash. I’ll get mine done soon and post pics..

Great idea, I hate how high the door panel goes, I usually rest my arm on top until it starts hurting or going numb

Heres a couple photos. After you route it through that rubber grommet you can pull the headliner down slightly and guide the cable down to the left to the jack compartment.

Always on dual USB in the glove box. Its power comes from my second battery system.

Who has removed that plastic piece in center of lower dash that holds cigarette lighter and USB? Does the center console around the shifter need to come out? Tried to fit expedition outfitters accessory mount today. Will finish next Sunday. And hopefully I can figure out how to fit my 6 switches into that bottom section like I know someone has done.
