So we hauled this thing all the way to Florida and back. It sucked less than I thought it would.

Trailer specs: Skyline Koala 20RB

And yes, I used a weight-distributing hitch.

Looks good! I just got a jayco jayfeather197 and I haven't towed it yet, i am Waiting to get a weight distributing hitch but it looks to be about the same lenth.

Towing is fine, but come 60-65 mph, you have to deal with the reality that it's the shape of a large brick. A single axle unit is less stable than a dual axle one, add the short wheel base of the 4runner, while it's not a problem it can definitely test your faith in physics.

No aftermarket suspension at all, no airbags. In the picture, as it turned out, I had overadjusted the weight distributing hitch by one chain link. Just a little bit of sag helps steady the whole contraption, but I made that discovery on the way back.

I think the average was about 12 mpg. If you push it to 70, 75, you're down around 10 mpg. If you can deal with the white knuckles, riding behind a semi at 70 gets you around 15 mpg.
