Just installed Toytech 3" lift kit and am very happy with the result.
I installed 3" Lift W/ Bilstein/Toytec kit and could honestly say that I am very satisfied with the result after driving a couple of hours on highway and USFS. The ride is so smooth either on road or off road. The 2nd picture was taken before a diff drop kit was installed.
The reason the result shows more than 3" lift is my truck has 170K on it. The alignment result shows only caster was very slightly out of the range.

The "drive without a spare tire" mod comes to mind. The biggest tire you can fit in the stock spare location is a small 33. A body lift will help but it will come down to trimming bumpers and fenders along with a body mount chop.

What size spacer did you use? I want to correct mine but cant decide on what size or whether to put in in the front or rear.

I've got a 2006 SR5 and looking to upgrade my wheels and tires. I've got a heavy duty OME lift on it and although I will be doing a lot of driving in/around tahoe, I'm coming from the bay area, so I'm looking for a more aggressive tire, that is still good on highway. As for the wheels, can I run a 17x9 and not need a spacer for a 285 tire?
Will steel rims be sufficient, I know they are less forgiving, but are they really that bad for highway driving?
Also will I need to run the "No spare tire" mod at a 285 tire?

How much rubbing did you get? And do u have spacers... thanks.

I had a local shop install everything and they took care of any trimming that needed to be done. I havent experience any rubbing so far. Also I do not have spacers.

Installed the OME 883/895e lift last weekend. Wheels and tires on the way.

Just about different lights and wheel/tire fits with the Toytec 3" and Bilstien 5100's. What all did you say you have done to it?

I have never been a huge fan of the gold/bronze 4Runners but those wheels actually make it look pretty cool! Definitely a unique color scheme, props.

Ha! Thought so. Funny I came across your post, but I'm pretty good at spotting these things. I caught of glimpse of you parked on our way out and said "check out that white 4th gen" to my wife and she was like "yeah, I saw it a long time ago" lol. Small world. Looking good!
