Finally got some new sneakers for my 4th gen! I went with Mastercraft Courser CXT 255-80-17,(33.1-10-17)on stock wheels and no spacers. Running a full OME suspension, using their medium springs front and rear. They just kiss the frame and the front wheel well liner at full lock. Just need to get a different offset wheel and I'll have zero rub. Tire noise isn't bad at all and they ride great for an LT tire.

Anyone running a wheel spacer on a 4 gen with 285/70/17 on a zero offset wheel? Would you post pics? I wanted to give my truck a little wider stance.

I currently have a 05 4Runner sr5 4wd. Putting 265/70-17 tires on, spidertrax spacers, and a 3/2 supreme suspension lift. Going to put kyg shocks and struts on all the way around since my suspensions 12 years old. Not looking to put 5100s on just because it's super expensive lol my question is, what should I do about springs?
I've read a little about moog 4runner 81045(rear springs) and 81090(front 4wd) and I've seen a lot of people saying they don't seat/fit well. So should I go with fj cruiser springs-moog 81081(rear) and 81108(front)? Any reviews on these? Are they going to fit without additional suspensionparts?

I will be adding 2 10 mm spacers on the driver and on on the passenger side. I will update it with pics soon. I forgot to add the 10mm spacer to the driver side when I install my liftthe first time . I will update this when I get my parts and install them

Hey guys, this is my first time posting on this forum so sorry if I ask stupid questions and or ones that have already been answered.
So I have an 08 runner Sport Edition V8 with FJ springs (front and back) and bilsteins 5100 (adjustable height), I'm pretty sure its set on the first notch but it might have been the second notch, sorry I installed them almost a year ago and I don't recall. Either way its 98% leveled, the front might be SLIGHTLY lower than the back but I think If I went to the next notch that the front would be higher than the back.
Ok, so knowing that info I want/need to get new tires and wheels (I'm running stock 265/65r17. I want to do 17in Black Rhino Mint wheels and the some kind of A/T tire. the 265 looks small but I hear with almost any 285 you'll have a good amount of rubbing. I know you can cut the mud flaps off. I guess you can push in the front wheel well plastic in?
I can't find a tire in the 275 category thats 6 ply and looks cool. I don't want a 10 ply BFgoodrich A/T, I don't off-road I don't need a heavy duty tire, I don't off road or haul heavy stuff.
So my question, with the current "lift" I have on my ride will 285's rub? is so will a 1.5 rear lift and raising the front bilstein to the top notch prevent rubbing?

I don't have a lift or tires yet but have done a decent amount of research on it. With a 3 front and 2 rear lift, you will have to remove the front mudflaps and push the fender liner forward. Rear should be fine with 2 inch lift. 1.5 I don't know ( I want to do the same thing)

I have about 3 front and 2+ rear and 285 duratrac and they rubbed a bunch had to get rid of front flaps, move front liners allot! Cut parts of the fenders in front but you can't tell it's underneath, and cut the body mounts. The rear is easy no problems has factory rear flaps. It's a 2006 V6.also put a spacer on the rear driver to help with lean Hope that helps some.
Forgot to add I do have wheel spacers and FJ wheels so that increased the rub more for the front fender area but it helped with the space for the uac.

I'm running the OME kit with medium rate springs. I have 255-80-17 Mastercraft Courser CXT tires on stock wheels and it only rubs on the front of the fender liners backing up and turning. These are a true 33" tire but actually more narrow then the stock tires. Also running factory wheels without wheel spacers.
It's the width and offset of the wheels that makes them rub so much. Only problem not many manufacturers make that size tire,so you're kinda limited.
