2. 285 75r16 Falken Wildpeak MT01s paired with 16in Method NVs with 0mm offset

3. Extremely happy with the results, will be replacing the rear lift to match the front fairly soon though.

Just swapped out 600#3” ID bilstein 6112 springs (max perch) 700# eibach 14” inch 3” ID. Got a little more lift and a bit less rake. Ride is very firm, but I hope it settles. Top picture is 600# bilstein springs (broken in), bottom is 700# eibach springs freshly installed (not broken in). 1/2” inch spaced on driver side and 1/4” spacer on passenger side. Got the silver eibach 700# spring just for a little more bling.

its my time to show. collected parts for a while and got the job done. 2011 17" gen 5 alloys which i believe are 7j ET15, so it pushes the wheel out further away from the strut by 3/4" , and sticks the whole wheel out further by 3/8".
+ 255/75/17 yoko geo's @32.1" dia.
monroe quick struts , new 1A-LCA and UCA & OEM hardware. so really just stock suspension refreshed with rough country 2/1 . no rubbing.

Ive gained 3" on the front, and 0.5-1" on the rear , at 15" under the side step.









from the ground 37" at front, and 22" to fender lip on all corners except driver side rear which is 21.5" , the springs are old in the rear so i may refresh them and it bump it up maybe 1/2".



before the fender clearance was this:

18.5, 19, 21.5, 21

thats a nice setup above - i thought those wheels were 30mm offset though. i could be wrong. if they are 15 i passed on them mistakenly for my fj 6 spokes. i know the other 5th gen wheels and phone dials are 15mm etc

I've got a "new to me" '08 Limited with XREAS.

Suspension feels fine to me, but the factory 18" rims are tired and the tires are all mall crawler.

It's a daily driver and I live in an urban center. Currently thinking about :

thats a nice setup above - i thought those wheels were 30mm offset though. i could be wrong. if they are 15 i passed on them mistakenly for my fj 6 spokes. i know the other 5th gen wheels and phone dials are 15mm etc

Nope they are +15 wheels, I have them too on my runner.

I've spent a ton of time trying to figure out what to do with for a lift. I did tons of research here. My T4R is my daily driver. I don't go off-road that often and when I do, it's easy trails.

When I first got my 08, I had replaced the front springs and shocks with the KYB strut plus assembly which was a quick fix for a real droopy front end. This almost leveled the front.

I decided I wanted a bit more. I ended up with Cornfed 1.5 front and 1 rear from Burtman Industries. I went with 1.5 on front because I was afraid 2" would make it nose high plus I got a great deal on this kit. I also replaced rear shocks with Bilstein 4600 and oem springs. I am happy with the result as I didn't want anything too crazy.......yet.

They are 265/70/17. I rubbed on full lock. Had to putt the front fender liner forward just a bit.

Light mounts

removed the silver roof rack and replaced it with the tubular kind off of a 09' Urban Runner. Debadged.

If you don't go off-roading much or on any serious trails, I would recommend the Toytec spacer kit.. I had that on my '08 for 35k miles and I drive to work 45mins everyday. It's super convenient and inexpensive.

NITTO 285/65/18 Ridge Grapplers on 18x9” wheels with negative 12 offset on STOCK suspension.

Toytec ultimate with ICON UCA’s going on in a couple weeks. Nothing you guys already don’t know. Clearance with wheel well is tight. Rubbing front fender liner with turns. However... for those curious as to just how big of a tire you can run on stock suspension, the liners can be trimmed.

Regarding the tires and driving/highway manners... The Ridge Grapplers are a mix of the Nitto Terra Grapplers all terrains and their Mud Grapplers. These are amazing tires. Tons of grip. Quieter than my Toyo all terrains. Nearly silent on the highway... which is incredible considering the huge sipes for snow and mud. Very happy with these.
