A little off topic but I think the cladding would look badass if you line-x'd them. I've seen a few people do that with their fender flares on other trucks and it looks pretty cool.

Did you get OME for both front and rear? And are the 5100's adjustable?

Yea, I did get the OME 884/895 as a set, but decided not to use the 895. I went with the Sway-A-Way 2" coils instead. The 5100s are adjustable and I have mine set on the .85" preload setting, which for some reason, has me at 4.5" lift in the front.

Finally get to post in here! I just got a Daystar Budget boost installed over the weekend and WOW! What a difference it made! It was 1" ( which gave me just under 2" of lift) for those of you wondering. It actually looks like a truck! Anyway, here are a couple pics. Sorry it's not the cleanest today and they are cell phone pics........
2006 t4r V8 LTD.
Bilstein 5100 front and rear shocks.
Front shocks (adjustable perch set at #3.... 1.25") which gives it a +/- 2.5" lift.
1.5" rear spacer.
Hankook dynapro atm rf10 - 265 / 65 / 18
zero rub, even withOUT moving the inner liners forward.
BEFORE: getting hung up with no traction on worn out mall tires......
AFTER:

Looking Good...hey I notice you have the exhaust coming out on the drivers side. What Exhaust are you running?
borla exhaust. comes out on BOTH driver and passenger side. Love the sound. quiet when cruising, little grumble when you press the skiney pedal.

4.5 from just suspension? sounds like your cv's are in trouble..

i too highly doubt he's at 4.5'' reason being is you will here some major clunking and your Ball joints will give out very soon.
i would believe it if you were at 3.5'' up front

Crimson, you might want to back off on the lift a little. 3.5 is about the most you wanna go. The ride must be really harsh with little or no down travel left in the suspension. Kinda hard to tell fro the pic but that uca looks awful close to the coil spring. Like others have said, a lot of excess stress on CV joints and ball joints. Good luck!

Thanks for the feedback guys. I had originally planned a modes 3/2 lift. I was not trying to be the biggest/tallest 4runner in Alabama despite my lifted results.
Unfortunately, yes (actually 4.5" over my previous measurement w/ nearly 100k on XREAS)...23.75" from hub to fender. Lifted way more than I had planned. Too much

Ha. See above. The lift provided a lot more than it should have. Another member has the exact same setup and is around 23" hub to fender...not sure why mine came out so much higher. Also, IMO, it doesn't look that much different from anyone running the Toytec Coilovers without lowering them first. Of course, I assume they are around 3.5-4"....so still lower/better than what i'm at.
As for my CVs, the 2 fins are touching are the inboard passenger. All the outboards are close. No noises or odd sounds from the joints...YET. I've repaired one leak with no more problems. Its not my DD so I am waiting to drop it down a notch. However, I did take a 300 mile trip in it last weekend and was a little nervous but no problems to speak of.
Thanks DawgRunner. Yea, I think I'll have to go that route. I really didn't want to take it back apart again but it looks like that's the only solution. As I mentioned above, I don't understand why my setup lifted so much more than others. I'm at ~38" F and ~39" R w/ the 265s. When you say 3.5" as the "Safe" max, are you referring to ~23" hub to fender height?
The ride is, surprisingly, not harsh IMO...of course harshness is a subjective measurement so take that for what its worth.
BTW, your rig looks amazing. I've been following your build for a while. I think i'm actually about to follow suite and get some 285/60/18 Zeons.
