They're a little stiff, but I'm going to be getting a shrockworks bumper, so I wanted the extra support. I actually removed my front sway bar to help with the stiffness. Rides a lot better now, with only a little extra roll in the turns.

Really? I might try this. I don't hate the ride but it could be better.

Went with a General Grabber At2 265 70 r17.. very little rub up front on hard turns.

new shoes and rear lift

Installed my Toytec Superflex rear coils and moved my 5100's to the top setting. Then got my 285/70-17 Goodyear Duratrac's on. Super stoked on the new stance and love these tires.

I did all the modding on Saturday and havent had a chance to trim yet but there's definitely rubbing. I think most of it is on the mud flaps. I'm getting an alignment tomorrow so more trimming is in my future :sniper:

Your ride looks awesome! So you are running FJC shocks in front but superflex in rear you just have the bilsteins adjusted higher in front correct? dont the superflex rear give like 2 inch lift in back?

Yup, FJC coils up front with the 5100's at top setting. I haven't had a chance to measure but it's about 2.5" lift in front with 2" lift in rear with Superflex coils. I love it, has about a 1" rake to it. I'm seriously considering going with the Toytec coil over for my billies. Would allow me to go up to 3" in front, but I'll rock this for a while. I have a little more trimming to do up front and if the weather ever gets better ill post some more pics.

Here are a couple pics of my recently lifted 4runner. I ended up going with 3" toytec spacers in the front, 2" OME coils/shocks in the rear and a 1" toytec BL. For tires I chose General Grabber At2's, size 285/75/16. I have all-pro 1.5" spacers sitting on my desk that I haven't installed yet.

Long time lurker here. Finally got some work done on my 2008 worth contributing with in this thread.

Moved up to 285 Mickey Thompson ATZs, FJ/5th Gen Wheels and a 1-inch toytec bodylift added to a DS 2.5/1.5. Moving on from 265 Michelin AT2s with just the daystar(no pics of the before though, thought I had some around). Pretty sure the wheels are off a 4runner even though I bought them advertised as FJ, they don't look as dark as the FJs to me.

Good first post Man - I dig the rims.

Took the Runner on a dirt bike trip this week. 800 miles round trip. 145 on the KTM ha.

All loaded up the bike blocks part of the rear lights so I run some tow lights up top. I also made a tag holder (with lights) for the back table - cause the tag gets blocked with the bike as well.

OME HD springs and air bags fight the sag of a 290lb LC4.

My 03' Sport Edition 2.5" lift 285's

I am running a billet 2.5 spacer lift in front only with the mud guards and running boards removed.
Tires are Toyo 285/70/17 Open Country A/T's. There is only slight rubbing on the upper control arm @ full lock, and it is only contacting the tire @ the edge of the tread block.

Bought an 05' sr5 about 6 months ago. Started working at Boeing about a year ago, and it's my first "real" job as I'm only 23. So I modding as funds become available but this is the first big mod. My buddy and I put it on yesterday. I think it looks amazing. Just need some tires and wheels now!
