What a silly question, of course there was one or the other. Do you think he just lucked out and raised up the only 4runner known to man that didn't rub?

I still have some more work to finish this up. I am happy with the stance and the way it looks right now (minus the mods in the future). The ICON suspension is ridiculously nice. Also the Toyo M/Ts are a much softer riding tire than I imagined. They are almost as quiet as my BFG T/A KO's but have a little bit more of a hum to them. The biggest problem that I came across is that at about 3/4 turn there is sever rubbing on the body mount. Going to take care of that in the very near future. Also I am planning on cleaning up the trimming they did. It looked as though they were in a hurry, lines aren't even inside the wheel well and just looks poor. I know the average person wouldn't even notice, but it still bothers me. Ill post some more pictures with a better camera when the final product is done (along with a washed car).

Looking back on it I probably should've just gone with the 285/70/17 just due to the totality of the fitment issues. Live and learn.

Thanks, I noticed you were still running stock mud flaps so it had me wondering. I've read that with a 3/2 lift and stock rims there weren't any problems running 255/75-17's I guess your lift is not quite enough or it's the offset in your wheels. Anyway, looks great!

I have the DayStar Budget Boost, 265/70/17 ATs and I rub. I need to pull the mudflaps off.

Thanks. With the stock 17s it rubbed just barely on one mudflap, which i trimmed. Once I installed the trd trail edition rims (6mm offset), it rubbed the front bumper when in reverse, so I pushed the fender liners forward and continued trimming.

But that tire size looks so good! Get your body mount chopped, do so more trimming, and hopefully no more rubbing. Looks badass!

I have no lift and 255/75/17 and the only time I rub is when hitting a bump at full lock...I did take off mud flaps though, but I just think it looks better that way I don't know if it would have rubbed or not. I have a lift sitting in my room I just have to find time to install it.

That is what I was hoping. I have 2" front and no rear lift and would like to run this tire size on stock rims. I like the lift I have now nice and level but would like to gain a little ground clearance. Thanks !

They are the TRD trail edition rims without the chrome ring.

No sir, they are at zero. It was recommended by manufacturer to not bump it if adding aftermarket springs. Also didn't want to increase CV angle anymore than is. After 3" it can get dicey

Might just be because it's black, but does it have a little rake or is it level? This is the same setup I have been considering so I'm glad I got to see a pic first.
