OK I am on a budget, so comments about cheap parts I could care less.
1.5 spacers in the front suspension. land cruiser front springs in rear. 2 inch wheel spacers. Uniball upper control arms. HFC delete. Traction control override. Jeep bushings on my rear links. Custom end links in the rear using energy suspension hardware. 33 in hi fly tires. diff drop. FJ cruiser bilstein shocks all around.

So.. you're using Land Cruiser front springs in the back? How'd you figure that out? Does it ride good? Interesting collection of parts, I dig your resourcefulness.

Haha Thank you. There's actually two little heads back there. I found on the forum that 97 landcruiser front springs will fit in the back. It rides great and now I tow a travel trailer and because they are stiffer than stock it rides great while pulling the trailer. If you are not pulling a trailer, I would suggest either getting more lift in the front or cutting the spring shorter. The reason i say this is because it sits a little higher in the back than in the front. I would also try to fit a rubber isolater between the spring and mount it sits in. I couldn't fit the stock one back in and had some noise when going over bumps fast. I used 1/4 inch thick rubber and sound is gone. The truck leveled out when I installed the upper control arms with uniball because the stress on the stock upper ball joint was gone. Overall, the truck drives great. I just want more travel in the front shocks now.

The ride is amazingly comfortable, smooth, solid handling and slightly firmer. The stance is awesome. First real road trip - LA to LV and back, very impressive with the quality of the shocks/lift/tire combo.

(Sorry, I know I have two other similar posts - just love my re-newed T4R now, and this forum is awesome. This is someone who's coming from Lotustalk forum for past 8 years!)

Looks good, nice wheel choice and good call on white letters facing out, looks clean!

5100's OME 885's and superflex rears.

Just waiting on 1/4 top plate spacers for the front and swaybar relocates and it will be going in. Picked up a set 17" FJ wheels in perfect condition for $125. All I have is spidertraxx installed so far. I need to decide on 175/70/17 or 155/75/17 now. Any suggestions?

Will i have to remove my spidertraxx since the FJ wheels have more offset than my stockies?

So I traveled home to TX last weekend, went to these 2011 SVT Raptor wheels I have laying around from little brothers truck (he went with Drop Stars or something) and was fooling about.. I know, a lift is on the way, and I haven't ordered the hubcentric lug conversion/spacer parts.... but yeah... Im kind of excited albeit I probably need to go smaller than 315/70R17... Or do I? The backspacing issue will be solved with the lug pattern converter/spacer, my only concern is tire rub on the UCA
