So I traveled home to TX last weekend, went to these 2011 SVT Raptor wheels I have laying around from little brothers truck (he went with Drop Stars or something) and was fooling about.. I know, a lift is on the way, and I haven't ordered the hubcentric lug conversion/spacer parts.... but yeah... Im kind of excited albeit I probably need to go smaller than 315/70R17... Or do I? The backspacing issue will be solved with the lug pattern converter/spacer, my only concern is tire rub on the UCA

How much lift do you have right now? I have Bilsteins on highest perch, rear 1.5" daystar and 2.5" body lift. I had to do some trimming, trim the body mount, and hammer the pinch welds flat. If you look at my thread you can see some stuff I did, you do not need to trim fenders as much as I did except behind the front tires so that you can have access to the pinch welds. I heated mine with a torch and pounded them flat. Be generous, save yourself the trouble of redoing it. If you have any questions please feel free to ask. I'll do my best. It really isn't all that hard.

Another Georgian On Board....

First contribution to the forum (been lurking for a while now). Had Daystars, Spidertraxx and a few small upgrades for a while but was never completely satisfied. I finally found the time and spare change to step it up a notch. Still got a ways to go, but I'm very pleased.....for now.

Update for those of you that were helping with my issues.

I installed the spidertrax awhile ago and all problems went away. The stealership had installed lug centric spacers. Have yet to get an alignment.

V8 4runner

Installed OME 884, 895, OME shocks and struts, LR UCAs.

From my understanding, a V8 with 884 setup and 895E (or 895) should NOT need aftermarket UCA's..... Just got off the phone with Toytec who confirmed. At this, I would assume it would be a 2" lift...

What sort of lift dimensions did you get on your V8 with 884? Why did you do UCA's?

-Just looking to set at 2" of lift (spacers is not an option) without changing out my UCA's. I have 03' V8 Limited

Tested these tires out a couple weeks ago on wet rock and gnarley stuff. Amazing tires. Set the pressure at 20psi all around. Worked great. Highly recommend these.

Just converted from stock springs with Bilstein 5100's set at 1.75" ring to level.

OME 885/895 With Nitro Sport Shocks all around
BFG A/T KO 265/70/17 with Spidertrax 1.25" spacers
Absolutely in love with this setup, I did't realize just how bad my ride was till I drove the OME's!!

Now to start on some armor!

How are you doing with stock UCA's?
Did you install the spacer kit for a "full 3 inch lift"?

Leveled

Went with the Bilstein height adjustable shocks and brought the front up 2.5". Rides really smooth, 4Runner had 185K miles on the old shocks. I think I am done with the exterior for now though.

2003 4x4 V8 Sport Ed. Galactic Gray - 2.5" Old Man Emu suspension lift - brand new 255/80/17 (33") BFG KM2 mud tires...yes they fit and they do not rub at all!

What springs are you rocking front and back?
Are you still on stock UCA's? Any issues?

Bilstein 5100

Got the bilstein 5100s installed all around (front at .85) a few months back. Kept my stock springs for now, thinking of going with OME coils when its time to get a new set of tires. They ride great paired with the stock springs, and set at .85 the truck is just about level. Tires are 265/65 BFG Rugged Terrains.

hahahaha keep telling yourself that. I always say the same thing and then something new shows up from the Brown truck. Your truck looks good though.
