Never saw an answer for this but the pic at the top posted by Milam... Is that a 285/70/17 BFG on the '03 in the "After" pic.? Also does anyone have pics of a 4th Gen with a Toytec 3/1.5 Spacer lift sitting on 285/70/17?... I assume it sits similar to the Toytec Ultimate lift with maybe slightly less rake? Thanks for the help!!!

HOW'S IT?
I love it. The combo of the Daystar spring spacers, new springs, and the Monroe shocks are a great combo. I also replaced my lower control arms and camber bolts while I was in there (due to the "freeze".)
I'm a big fan of the General Grabber AT2's as they last longer than BFG's and Nitto's and have a nice tread pattern which is aggressive enough for me. (Although I love the Nitto Terra Grapplers which I've owned two sets of.. BFG has just gone downhill IMO.)
I may put on wheel spacers all around, but right now I am more than happy with how the truck is riding on and off road.
Looks great.
I've got an 04' Sport so its got those same square-ish wheel well fenders that seem to have less clearance than other years/models.
What UCA's did you use?
I've read that some were having problems installing the Fj rear coils, as they don't sit down on the axle properly. How was yours?
Did you have to any other mods to keep the tires from rubbing?
Also, I have wheels with quite a bit of offset, so they're more likely to rub then the stocks. How much offset with your wheel spacers will it handle, wo having to do more mods?

I got this. loose translation of course ' He had a nice wood canoe, but after 3 years it was too small. Then he saw a 4x4 magazine with a 4runner and had to have one. He traded 4 boxes of cigars for a used 4runner and has been bombing through the jungle leaving others in his wake ever since.'

I kept the UCA's stock - but the LCA's are OEM.. Ate up a little bit of budget, but worth it..
The Moog FJ rear coils will not go on without grinding or modification, so I decided to order OEM from Conicelli Toyota.
My tires only rub when I back up on an incline with my wheel fully cranked left or right... Or if I am during down into a big dip.. But its on the bottom of the fender liner and an easy fix.
I think putting in after market wheel spacers will make this more prevalent, so I am waiting a little while before I do.

I had 285s with out the lift to start off ha. So there's enough trimmed in there to almost clear a 35 inch tire as it sits. I trimmed quite abit. About 2inches out of the front bumper and half of the plastic on the fender liner is cut off.

Not very good pics the lighting is bad it's gloomy out..but had to share I finally got my wheels and tires mounted up! New moog coils in front with toytec 3" and rear air bags converted to coils with moog coils and toytec spacer, 255/75/17 bfg km, sequoia 17" wheels fresh from powdercoat and 1" spacer. Stoked with the overall look for sure, these wheels and spacers filled the fender wells percectly..best part is I'm into the lift, tires, wheels (including powdercoating) and wheel spacers under $650

Thanks man I appreciate it, defininitely happy with how they came out. Got tires and wheels for $ 275 then $100 for powdercoat, couldn't be happier for a budget setup.

-LOVE IT! I most likely will upgrade to adjustable coils in the future but for the money this thing rides wonderfully
