How can I tell if my XREAS is bad without checking for leaks? Do you think that a 2005 V8 at 155k needs a new suspension? I have no idea how long XREAS is supposed to last and I don't want to do any damage to the axles, etc.

I'm thinking of getting Bilstein 5100's or an EMU setup.

Last question, if I do get the 5100's or EMU and it provides a 2 inch lift, will it make my brand new BFG Rugged Terrain's (265/65-17) look too small?

you can usually feel it going bad when taking turns and what not. but yeah 265-65 will look small after the lift. mine did, so i upped the size. but it isnt soooo bad.

i like color matched door handles and grill. i plan on plastidipping my grill and badges. the grill is temporary until i want to spend the money on the limited grill haha.

I think no flaps are nice look but chips the cap out of paint . Nice treads you got a level kit ?

No spacers but the boss is a coil over . I just left it at pre set values. It has a little reverse rake. I'll try to take some pics tomorrow.

I know at some point you have said it before, but where can I get a bar like this for my lights? I really like the police style bull bars best, but they are not buyable anymore (Not that I have seen). Also, I refuse to use those rinky dink chrome style bars. Great looking truck by the way.

You can get them from the man,the myth, the legend, and member ... [MENTION=93512]MojaveMadMan[/MENTION] he sells 4 different styles but you better hit him up quick cause I believe he is gonna take a break for some family time. Last I heard/seen he had a couple left from his last run of them and just today another member asked me how to get one..so you know what to do. Lol good luck

Thank you. If they are that rare to come by, I may put a hold on it. My wife and I just bought a house, and I need to put money back into the savings before I start any new projects. I havent been on the site in a few months, and I roll across your bad ass pictures and they made me jealous enough to ask lol. The mod bug has been biting me, and I wanted to scatch it with a small one haha

It's a cheap scratch he has good prices, not rare he's been doing them here for just about a year prior he did them for Tacomas. Cool guy he's in the Air Force and does this on the side so he's always busy, he's just taking a breather to spend time with his little ones, but he did have a couple left, I just don't know which styles. He also sells light bars and lightings for them as well.
And thanx for the props on my rig...make sure you scratch that itch before it becomes a full blown rash! That's not good for anybody.
Congrats on the new house by the way, one of life's big steps....now go man cave out the garage, shut the door and get to scratchin.

Thanks buddy. We were ready for a move. Cant say I like the new MPG being a half mile from work (although convenient). The man cave simply needs to be transfered to the new shed. Most of it is still in the back of the 4runner. I really need my back seat back anyway haha

Guess I'll finally post some pics now that I have new tires.

275/70/17 BFG KO2 E

Caught these on sale at 4WP for $187. Got 5 and the spare did fit, though not all the way up in the cavity.

Quite happy with the result. Had planned to go with 255/75/17 but these were a tad bit taller/wider.
The are as tall or taller than the Micky Thompson 33/12.5s on my LC, a Full 32" tire.

10ply/E so a bit heavy. But they are very quiet.
Did not require spacers, but it is close. A 285 certainly would on stock rims.

I would certainly recommend this setup for anyone who wants a tough off road tire, tall as possible w/o getting into rubbing/cutting/spacers etc.

Very little rubbing, plastic only
