What are the biggest tires people have fit with FJ springs (all 4), and the 2.5 inch Daystar lift?
Do the 1.25 spidertrax spacers allow for any increase?
Whats the biggest tire that will fit in the spare compartment?

So finally decided to get BFG KO 265/70/17 :lock1:, replacing Nitto TG's which gave me about 58k miles. These are certainly 'luggier' and look better. I went with load range C which works for me as this does not get heavy off-roading.

I had a brand new 245/75/17 just mounted on my spare. The tire was given to me so I couldn't complain much about the size. I had the tire store do all the work and haven't looked under there but he told me it fit but just barely. That's 31.4" tall tire.

Thanks, thats a little smaller than I was hoping. I read its about 31" that can fit but I haven't confirmed what's true

Has anyone had any rubbing with this setup? Today I noticed some rubbing while backing up to the left. It's rubbing the bottom part of the front plastic.

I've been lurking this forum since I bought her. First time posting pics...
-2008 4x4 Sport V6 (original owner w/ 110,000+ miles)
-Bilstein 6112s up front (highest setting)
-Bilstein 5100s w/ SAW 1.5 springs in the back
-17 in. Matte Gunmetal FN f(x) Pro wheels
-265/65/17 Michelin's transferred over from stock wheels. I'll upsize the tires once I wear the tread out on these donuts.

How do you like the FN wheels? I am back and forth between factory TRD pros and the FN wheel. Not crazy about the FN center cap, but also not crazy about the 7" wide factory wheel or the fact I can't get it in bronze. Look great on your truck by the way.

Finally pulled the trigger and ordered the daystar 2.5/1.5 kit. I really wanted a suspension lift kit, but finances being the way they are, that won't happen for quite a while so I will put this kit on for now. Now to do my research and make this as pain free as possible.

Anybody that has the "new" easy install daystar kit and has any advice, please feel free to send me a PM.

Thanks! I love them. FN carries the TRD and plain black caps for now. In the middle of July, Dustin (the owner) said they're going to have FNW caps available. He showed me the prototypes, and they look pretty good. I was on the fence between these and the oem ones too. I mostly chose these because I liked how they were just the right offset to get the tires to sit flush with the fender without spacers. I also liked that they seemed a bit more concave, were wider, and had a flush center cap area.

Looks sweet in black! Nice truck! We have this same 2003 T4R in silver. We ripped all the plastic sides and bumpers and call it our zombie apocalypse vehicle. It's funny looking but at least I know which ride is mine in big parking lots! Haha!
