I've been a reader for a long time and thought I would contribute a photo of my recent setup. I replaced my Michelin LTX AT2's P265/65-17 today due to sidewall cracks (Costco amazingly gave me a huge credit towards this), with BF Goodrich KO2's in LT265/70-17 C "laces out" after reading about and admiring other peoples trucks on here. I have Bilstein 5100's all the way around on stock springs with the fronts set at 0.85" and I love the setup. It's amazing how much better filling out the wheel wells makes it look!!! From my experience so far, these are hardly any louder than the Michelins and they ride great (I was apprehensive about an LT tire). Thanks for all the help, hopefully I can contribute more to help other members!!!

I thought they would be significantly louder given their tread design, but other members are correct in saying these are very quiet considering. I hear more but it's almost a deeper hum and not bothersome at all. Overall I'm very impressed and the load range C when inflated to ~38psi provides a very comfortable ride on par with my old P rated Michelins. I've also only had them on so far today for hours and already received compliments! Hope this helps!

Daystar 2.5" front 1.5" rear installation 2008 4runner/ no XREAS
I have been looking at buying a Daystar leveling kit preferably the 2.5" front and 1.5" rear kit. I was wondering how easy is it to install by yourself? I would have my dads help. I am only 16 and really dont want to shell out 600$ to get it done from the shops around me. I know after the installation i will need an alignment. I was wondering what tools do i need and are there any tips and/or guidelines i can go by during this installation?

Jut blew the right rear shock on my t4r with areas package. I need find a complete replacement someone is hoping to part with. I'm interested in keeping it as stock as possible because i am planning on buying a tundra for work. i know i can replace everything with bilsteins but id rather keep it stock so its easier to sell.

Really depends on you and your dads skill set. Its not super hard, and no special tools are required. I thought there was a step by step guide on here or on tacoma world. A small wrench, 14mm I think, is handy for the third nut holding the front shock on. And a large pry bar is a great tool to have for the rear install.

Looking to replace my tires. Anyone know if 285/75/r16 will fit? I'm planning to order the Level 8 mk 6 with a -10 offset. I have 5100's with FJ springs Front and rear, at 1.75" perch front and daystar 1.5" lift in the rear. Would be interested in the kumho KL61 which I currently am at the end of in 265/70/17

After some research and looking through 10s of pages, it seems that the regular tire size up is to go with a 265/70/17 for those running a 17in stock wheel. Would it hurt to run something slightly wider like a 275 with maybe a 1.25 wheel spacer? Would that help to clear the UCA?

My stock wheels had 265/65R17 Toyo Open Country's on them, I put the 1.25 spidertax wheel spacers on. Still cleared everything. When I put my new wheels on with the BFG rugged terrain 265/75R17 I had to trim up a bunch on the bumper that is close to the fender wells because when I would turn they would hit.

But what I am curious about is wider tires and not taller. Although if I could have both with minimal ride height increase, it would great too! LOL!
