Recently purchased 06 SR5 w 110k on the clock. Talked myself into a modest discount as the shocks and struts were gone, which was great because I was planning to replace it all anyway. Today had the Toytec 3" lift with 5100s and Toytec springs all around. Here's an after pic, plus some crappy iPhone photos for a before/after comparison. Loving the change.

Tire Size
I have a 2006 4Runner Limited that is desperate need of new tires. I would love to buy something a little more aggressive looking that I can go off road in the sugar sand with, but that doesn't have too much road noise. I've been researching online and have found a couple tires that I like, however they are not available in my size, which is 265/60 18. Which leads me to three questions for you all: 1) Is there any other size tire that I can put on these rims other than what they came with? Everything is stock with no lifts or anything. 2) Why does everyone that has posted on here seem to have 17 inch tires, and not 18 inch that came on my vehicle? I am searching through your posts for a great looking tire and you all have a different size than I do. 3) Any recommendations for a rugged looking tire that isn't too loud? Not concerned with mpg, though I do occasionally travel on the highway. Thanks for any info!

I have Toyo Open Country AT II that are 285 60 18. My runner came with 17", (SR5 and Sport have 17s), I think Limiteds have 18s, someone can correct me on this.
I selected the Open Country because I wanted the rugged AT pattern without a lot of road noise. I am pretty happy with them, although I feel like their rain performance is a little lacking. They are slippery on wet concrete surfaces like a lot of entrance/exit ramps are built from in my area.

i really appreciate the offer! i ended finding a 4R that was totaled due to a roll over and took the xreas off of that. so i ended up taking a couple days to get it on there. boy was that a pain in the neck.

Tried to make a video capturing the sound, had to record a while the car started doing it around 40 seconds into this video. Rod Knock? its very inconsistent and will increase with rev but mostly goes away unless idle.

2007 Sport Edition with XREAS. Before and After. Cornfed Lift 3"/2". Fuel Maverick 17"x9" with -12mm Backspacing. Toyo M/T's 285/70/17's. Had to pull front side of fender liners forward and trim just a little edge on the front side of the bumper cover.

thank you! im based out of the lynnwood area. as for the pics, this was west of the mountains, out on some forest roads in Skagit Valley
