I picked up this 04 SR5 completely stock last fall. Since then I've added the following:
ICON Stage 2 kit, Toyo Open Country R/Ts 295/70R17 around '15/'16 Trail Edition wheels powder coated in dark bronze (looks black in low light), custom rock sliders I made with friend, PrInSu Design Studio ROOFRAC, 35% front and 5% all around the back, and a Kenwood touchscreen head unit. Also, I'll be adding some aux LEDs, a winch, and steel front bumper very soon!

how difficult was it to install the roof rack? I've been looking to pull the trigger on one soon and this looks great!

Hey everyone,

Thank you for taking the time to post specs and pictures.

Following (somewhat) in the footsteps of Mytoy4, I'm getting 18x9, -12 Fuel Beast wheels.

I'll only be running 275/65R18 Grabbers for a while... but mud tires one day; 285/65R18.

Measuring my truck, the new wheels' front face should sit flush with the body line, leaving the tread tucked in but the sidewall outside the fender line.

6112's set to the first setting (.5" of lift) and a 1.5" strut spacer in the front, 5160's with FJ trail teams springs and 2" spacer in the rear. black on black 17x8.5 scs SR8's, 285 70 17 bfg km2's.

Kidding! You'll love them! I absolutly do! It took me a hell of a long time to find them and as soon as I saw them, I was in love. They're my favorite part of the truck now (before it was my satoshi).

They sit perfectly aligned with the body of the truck.

Ironically I found your truck by searching the wheels. The shop that does my work carries Fuel wheels and they're reasonably priced. The Beast grew on me eventually (as that I wanted to avoid black wheels and the "storm trooper look", white truck with black wheels), I saw a 5th gen in a parking lot out in Coquitlam with +20 offset Fuel Beast wheels and thought "meh, that would be ok, better than most I think". I soon learned 0 offset and -12 were good options, and I found your set up, and I was floored by how awesome it worked out.

Upside to the storm trooper look is that your wheels can't hit anything.

275/70 R17 KO2, RCI skids, and OME on yesterday

Just installed OME lift, RCI skids, 275/70 R17 KO2s. Slight rub on UCA but will have to see after alignment.

Thanks! I haven't got it back yet, they are doing alignment today, and hopefully the UCA rub will stop, and I can't wait to go offroad tomorrow haha

255/75/17 or 265/70/17 would be good. still depends on your alignment , may need to trim the fender liner a bit, easy job.

I've got 18 inch rims, though. Idk why but apparently 18 inch rims are stock for a 2008 limited v8?

So comparable size for 18 I believe is 265/65/r18

I'm scheduled to have an OME lift kit and Cooper Discoverer AT/3's installed on my T4R in a couple of weeks. I'm going with 265/70-17's.

Struggled with some rusted parts/bolts but finally got it all done.

2003 Sport V8 w/223k
OME 885's in front OME 895's in rear.
Bilstein 5100's set on .085 setting in front (2nd height notch)
