I made it. Bought letters on customcargrills.com. On their website they have detailed videos on how to cut up the stock grill and make a pretty good looking satoshi style grill. I sourced the mesh myself because it was cheaper that way.

New shoes on my 4runner
just popped on some BFG KO2s. 275/65/18. they cleared the control arms with minimal rubbing on fender lining. Once Spidertraxx installed, major rubbing on liner. I plan on pushing them forward. I love the way my 4runner looks with new wheel spacers and 32s.

How are you liking that lopro winch bumper, i'm not sure if id go full bumper or that option.

Need new tire set up
I have a 2007 4Runner with a DayStar 2.5 lift in the front and 1.5 in the rear. My tire size right now is 265/70/r17. I was wondering if I could upgrade to 285/70/r17 without rubbing or any problems.

2.5/1.5 Daystar KYB strut plus combo on my 2005 v6 4x4.
New shocks and springs to go on the rear when the light comes back tomorrow.
Front is way high now right off the jack but should look good settled. You can see the sag from the big brush guard and age.
For sure had to remove sway bar and UCA to squeeze in the 2.5 spacer on the front. Wasted an hour fighting it at first then just gave in and it went quick. About 5 hours total for fronts. Hopefully just 2 or 3 for the rears.
Too bad the tires are nearly new or I'd go bigger lol.

Rears on in about 2.5 hours. Sway bar end links had to come off to pry the rear down the extra bit but other than that, easy install of the reflex shocks and new springs.
Forgot to compare fronts in a photo, but they have +3ish coils. Rears have +1.

Just threw on my Bilstien 5100 Adjustable shocks + OME 885 coils on the front this morning. Previous owner had a procomp 3" lift in the back with a 1" spacer up front but I hated the look. Unfortunately I don't have any before pictures on this phone but it's a large difference.
Now I just need to save for some new rims and tires!

Well I am finally biting the bullet and ordering the parts for my lift today. I decided to buy all the parts individually to save a little cash. Here is my list of parts and where I am getting them. I am looking to get 2"-2.5" of overall lift. Im looking to get the best price and prioritize warranty. I wanted to order the shocks from Autozone, for lifetime warranty, but when I clicked checkout it wouldn't let me because they are apparently not in stock. For those that have lifted their 4runners can you please confirm that I have everything I need and if you have any suggestions I would appreciate it a lot.

2006 4runner Specs:
Suspension up front sitting on Maxtrac 4 inch spindles(yes sadly only 2wd) with Bilstein 5100's set at 0 with 2.5 inch toytec lift coils with a quarter inch spacer on the top, JBA UCA, and extended brake lines.
On the Rear - Fj 3.5 inch lift coils with the extendo fox 2.0 shocks with resi's, longer swayers from energy suspension, and soon to come is the inside lift block with air ride inside the fj coils to beef it up with lower links coming also(but that won't be on for another week or so)
Tires are 35x12.50 and only barely rub when offroad and flexed up or pinned into the fender well when turning, Ive got Body mount chops from relentless fab that Im in the process of welding on to fix this but really it fits the 35's very easy as i got almost 8 inches up of lift on the front from stock! Love the way it rides and handles, It had just the 3/2 toytec lift on it with 33's but decided to change it out and it was the best decision, Breaks necks everytime i get on the road (;
