Finished the install yesterday! Bilstein 5100s with OME 885/895 stings from YotaMafia. 17x9 Procomp wheels with 0 offset that I got on sale with some 285/75R17 Toyo open country a/t's I got used from a friend. Super stoked with how it came out. Very minimal rubbing, only had to trim front bumper.

Love the mean look of this!! Great job on that and I can’t wait to finally start modifying my Limited.

It's an Auxbeam light bar, the ones with the 3 brackets that come off the back of it, and I drilled 2 new holes in each bracket and used self tappers through that and into the core support. Couldn't get a nut and bolt in there so this was my next best option.

Thats a great option, I already had the light bar from my last truck and didn't wanna spend the money. That set up from them looks great.

Alright guys I’m having a hard time making a decision.. I’m picking up my ‘07 Galactic Gray T4R this weekend and I’m so pumped about it. Since this is the lift and tire thread, I need opinions. I’m going to throw some 265/70R17’s on for the time being, probably will wear those out honestly. This is going to be my daily driver, but I will be doing some light off roading, camping, dirt roads/trails, nothing crazy.

I’m thinking about just doing a leveling kit for now, and adding bilstein 5100’s and upgrading coils down the road when I put bigger tires on. I want to level out my 4R, won’t be towing anything or carrying any weight. I just want a small 1-2” lift for now. Any recommendations for the time being? Thank you!

This thread is more for pictures. Theres another thread about lift and suspension options that goes through all the options.

My rec is to start with bilstein 5100 and use the adjustable clip to get a 1.5-1.85 lift. Then you can add in springs. You can get them for about $80-90 each, plus labor or do it yourself

People will always say not to run a spacer kit, but if you aren't doing any articulation or real "wheeling" you will be fine. I used the Toytec spacer kit for about a year and a half until I replaced the suspension. It gives you time to decide what you really want to do and still run larger tires and a "lift." My question for you is, what is your budget? The Toytec spacer kit I got was around $350 if I can remember correctly. If you can afford to spend $700-1k I would look at getting some Dobinson or Toytec coilovers and suspension parts IMO.

Hmm so nobody lift? I have the same bumper and did not get the body lift option with it. I'm afraid once I go to 35s I'll have to redo my bumper for a body lift asking with my suspension lift.

Yup. No body lift. Get stiff springs and extended bump stops. Adjustable rear track bars and start chopping. It can be done.
