Had the lift for 2 years (maybe i dont remember)
Dobinsons 3"
17" FJ/T4R 8 Holes +15mm Offset
285/70/17 Kenda Klever RT

Love the way it rides now with the bigger/heavier tires.

First Picture is after the lift with original tires and wheels (265/70/17 G2s)

How do you like the Klevers? I've been eyeing those for a while. Very affordable. Any issues on highway? And I assume you are running wheel spacers to get that stance?

somewhat recently i saw someone raving about those Kenda MTs...liked more than big name brands

Wheel/Tire Fitment advice

Hi all, I just recently lifted my '07 v6 using Bilstein 5100s in conjunction with OME 884s in the front and Toytec superflex coils in the rear. It gave me almost 3 inches of lift!
I want to purchase 17' wheels but am unsure with all the different size options. I was hoping the wheels would have a little wider stance than stock to make up for the rise in center of gravity. (without using wheel spacers)
of these two options (or if you have other suggestions I am open) which would be "further out" and also not rub? I don't want to cut anything.

17x8.5 6x5.5, 0 offset, 4.75 backspace
17 X 8.56 X 139.7, -10mm offset, 4.30 backspace

Also tire suggestions would help immensely.
I have been doing research but it's kind of an emergency because one of my tires is leaky and I really don't want to buy another 18" tire if I can help it.

I would have started a separate thread, but I only have one active post, my apologies.

I don't have an opinion on the backspacing questions but got pics of the new setup? I'm looking at the same configuration. Also tire-wise, been running Falken Wildpeaks with zero regrets.

I would go with 0 offset and at most 275's

I went with level 8 MK6 17x8 with 0 offset wheels and 275/70/17” Falken Wilpeak A/T W3 tires. The 0 offset stick out a fair amount over stock since the stock are + offsets. I went with Bilstein 5100’s, Eibach front springs, and 1/2” spacer on top. Gave me about 3” and I Still rubbed pretty good on front turning past halfway. I had to remove my mud flaps and trim/push my fender well liners forward. The wider the tires stick out the more you’ll rub as it was the outside of tire that was mainly rubbing.

I still get a little bit of rubbing while turning when I gun it a little or on big bumps. I haven’t looked anymore into it but now it’s probably my front lower fender and may have be to trimmed a bit more. I did NOT want to trim anything either but it’s the nature of it and comes with the territory apparently. Trimming the fender well liner and pushing forward was easy and no big deal, unless you really look inside it would be hard to notice. If you don’t want to rub then be conservative on your tire size. Mine wasn’t significant by any means, only 1 size up in width and height.

Here is a crappy pic with stock wheels, I will post some better ones but perhaps I'll wait until I get the wheels and tires.
