kings with adjusters on all 4 corners, 285/70r17 Nitto ridge grapplers, Icon overland 3: lift coils in the rear (unloaded right now)

maybe i should have gone 35's? these look smallish.

kings are adjusted, 4 full turns on each side.

ironman 4x4 UCA's and panhard bar for KDSS kit go in next week

this is my dream 4runner y'all!

Definitely should go 35's! If I ever get a 5th gen this is what I would want as well! Congrats!

Looking for advice

2003 4Runner SR5 4WD
265/65 R17

I am looking at new tires, I live in Alberta, so it is possible to have all seasons in a day. I don’t do anything besides mountain and country trails.

Is 265/65 R17 the best size with stock suspension? If I lift it won’t be anytime soon, and it won’t be much. Would a bigger size fit without rubbing, is it advisable?

Which tires do you guys have experience with, I do travel to BC, so three peaks is a must, I am considering

- Vredestein Pinza AT, these seem to be tire racks favourite.
- Firestone Destination AT2.
- Pirelli Scorpion AT+

The vredestein seem to be best, but are really quite expensive to get to the great white north.

The Firestones seem to handle worse than the Pirellis but have greater comfort

I find myself leaning to the Firestones.

3" lift on later wheels with slightly oversize yoko geo's, close to 4"= lots of ground clearance

285/75/16 Goodyear duratracs with level 8 mk6s in matte bronze. Gonna be replacing the ugly center caps with the TRD ones today.

Some builds have such good proportions, I love this!

Current setup is 5100’s all around. Stock setting on them. OME 885’s up front, superflex rears, 1” BL.
Numbers are, from ground -
Front driver - 39 1/2
Front pass - 39 5/8
Rear driver - 41
Rear pass - 41

I don’t really “visibly” notice that rake but I guess I have it... my question is this -

If I set the billies up to their first notch (not EXACTLY recommended with My springs but I’m not too worried about that). Do y’all think I’ll be sitting level or be dealing with reverse rake without a 1” rear spacer?

Thanks! No spacers and sticking with this size tire. No rubbing at all right now but it’s close with the tires turned and the front mud flaps. With the off-roading we do, I like good tire/body clearance.

Just got these installed today on my '07 V8 Limited. C load K02s in 265/70-17s on Matte Gray TRD Pros. No lift, just bought the truck, but I'm shopping for something plush in a 2/1 for now. VERY SLIGHT rub on the front of the fender liners, but it'll ride til I get it picked up a bit. Glad I went with C load instead of Es, rides almost like the oem-spec LT Michelins that were on it when I bought it last week.

I never liked the stock alloy rims, so I replaced them with some steel spare-tire rims. 265/75-16 Cooper ST MAXX

Just upgraded to the Wildpeaks (275/70/17s) and TRD rims before snow season.
