Ok so the mod bug is really crawling on my skin.

I want to lift the truck and am thinking of going with the Toytec 3/2 spacer/spring kit. Its a daily driver and will be taken off road every now and then.

My question is will a 275/70R18 tire fit without major rubbing? I know its a new truck and not a lot of people have lifted it yet. The tire is only about 1.5 inches taller and less then .5 inches widder then the stock size, give or take of course for manufacturing differences.

Nobody that I have heard of has run that big a tire on the 5th.A 275/70/18 is huge. Like 33 1/4" tall.
If a 285/70/17 that's 32.8" rubs with a lift then a tire that big would need some major trimming even with a 3/2 lift .
The tire I was looking at in 18 inch was a 305/60/18 which is a 32.4 inch and is 12 inches wide.Needs at least a 8.5 inch rim though.

You went with the leveling kit correct? 1"? What size tire did you fit underneath? Nothing is set in stone but just know i want to get a larger tire under the runner.

Why do you want to go 18's ? I thought about 18's too until I saw how much more expensive the tires are. About $40-50 more per tire for the BFG MT KM2'S in the same size I was looking at.

It gives the big wheel look, with plenty of sidewall left on the tire. Plus it seems like the brake calipers are squished in there. Guess you can say the 18s would be for looks mainly. But if its 40-50 more per tire, I might just stay with the stockers.

Yep , you should be able to make those work with a 3/2 lift with minor plastic trimming.Are you going to get aftermarket rims? If you get 17 inch rims that are at least 8.5 inches wide you can go with a 305/70/17 which is in between the 275 and 285 height wise but are 12 inches wide to fill out the wheel wells.

I was thinking about getting a set of KMC wheels, but all depends on the funds. I do like the factory wheels so i may stay with those for the first set of tires. Like you, I have an image of what i want my car to look like, but it will take time for it to come to life. The first step was getting the runner and that is done.
