Lift Kit Help Needed

Year: 2011
Model: 4 Runner SR5, 2WD (yes, I want to lift my 2WD)

I have looked at the Toytec 3" lift kit. Someone told me that a 3 inch kit would cause me too many problems, and that I needed to stick with a 2.5 kit.

What are your thoughts or experiences with the 3 inch kit?

Should I get the Toytec kit with the replacement springs?

Hi and welcome! Let me start out by saying that the search function (the google one, not the search drop down tab) is your best bet on finding a wealth of information on most all your questions about lifts.



That being said, I have had no problems or issues with my 3" lift from toytec, but there's plenty of opinions one way or other.

With 2WD you dont need to worry about CV angles at all. Look into some lift spindles for the front and replacement springs for the rear as an option or go with a lift kit of your liking.
