Yes, stock UCA's. Just the out-of-the-box TT Ultimate.
Rides better than fine...rides awesome! Better, believe it or not, than the stock config with XREAS. Of course not riding on those OE Yokohama's it doesn't want to 'track' on the rain grooves at all (which still really surprises me).

Looking at your align specs there, are you having any wandering/floaty feeling issues? The caster setting is low, is that the best they could get? Did you ask for it to be set higher? Even with the OEM uca's they should be able to get to 3.5-4. Or go with aftermarket adjustable arms and 5+ should be within reach. This will translate into much tighter feel at the steering wheel and will also help alleviate any rub at the rear of the wheel well or on the body mount.

Ha. Naaa, I've been trying and it's apparently having zero effect! Now, if you were coming from CA, that'd be another story.

Hey Qjake. It really feels "ok", now keep in mind I am coming from the ultimate in uber-tight handling characteristics (E60 BMW V8) as my DD and a 3rd gen with BFG AT's bouncing me all over the road...so my expectations around feel in this 5th gen may be too low!
I am going to take it back-in there soon and I will put together as much as I can to fully understand it and present to them to do a better job. They seem to think they know it all...in fact, maybe I'll just buy UCA's and go somewhere else (smaller) to re-do alignment. Hmmm.

Hmm they just may know it all but then again why didn't they at least get the caster within range? :shrug: I'd give them another shot at it with OEM arms and see if it improves then if you need more caster go aftermarket.

Good idea. In particular because they will do it again at no cost.
Question: am I doing any damage by running it under less than perfect settings??
