Limited Edition Mod Thread

Installed the Daystar 2.5/1.5 and Spidertrax 1.25" wheel spacers on my wife's Limited, still need to move/heat the front of the fender wells to stop rubbing with the 275/55s.

Never realized the OEM rims on ltd would look dope with aggressive tires

A whole lotta playing around but I got it to work really great. Start off with aftermarket headlights so they can be opened and easily resealed. NEVER try the OEM light. Basically impossible due to the permaseal they use. Then source out some LED,s and modules and just play around. Really happy with mine and this is only version 1. Working on a much cooler set at the moment
Would like to see the finished product when your done.

I just assumed I'd need to replace the original tires. Are you guys finding the Limited's originals work just fine for off road?

I just did a bit of searching and the duratecs have a very good reputation. Thanks for turning me on to them.

I'm thinking going this route save me a ton -- I don't need to buy new wheels and I don't need a full second set of wheels/tires for winter. Sweet!

Glad I'm not the only one running those OEMs

Pictures of your truck that I saw a couple years back are the reason I knew it would look good. Maybe after I finish with my Taco headlights I'll open the headlights and steal your idea for those as well.

Can you post a straight shot from behind? Curious if adding the more aggressive tires helps the wheels look a little wider. I love my Limited stock wheels but they are so narrow!

Color matched handles...

Had my handles Color matched!! :reddance:

Sorry about the sideways pictures. wtf:
Save your pic's in MS Paint and rotate & save if necessary. Btw, Red Limited's with total chrome black out are Bad Ass. I've been trying to talk the wife into getting one for her next truck... hopefully it'll pan out.

fixed them for you.

This is the best I have now, will try to get one from the rear some time. The 3/4" wider tires and 1.25" spacers really help with the stance from the narrow wheels. The stock tires & backspacing is awful, this is much improved.
