I got new wheels, tires and a lift

Wheels - Oem TRD pro
Tires - Nitto Ridge Grapplers 285/70/17 Load C
Lift - TRD pro Bilsteins and Cornfed spacers 2/1.5

Replaced all 4 chrome belt moldings to black. These are standard black on all runners except limited :-(

I've been accumulating parts over the past 6 months and got the final pieces in last week.

Tackled this today. Not that tough of a job. I did it myself and it would have been a bit easier with a helper during some steps.

I did the Chinese TRD grill (lights still to do) and I'm not thrilled with the fitment. Granted...it's like a quarter of the cost. Going to try and work it a bit more tomorrow with a heat gun.

You can see on one of the pics how much lower the limited bumper sits compared to the trail/TRD. There is some trimming you need to do, but it's not difficult just a little time consuming.

Also went with the RCI filler plate. I'm happy with the results (once I fiddle with the TRD bar more).

I purchased parts from a variety of places. eBay...local dealership (front bumper), and amazon. Some were used parts, some where new parts.

bumper: 337
bumper painted: 397 (most expensive step)
retaining brackets (both sides) : 97
RCI filler plate (optional): 84
RCI skid plate (optional): 312. If you do the TRD skid the filler plate is not needed
52148-35120: 35
bumper reinforcement: 250
clips: 20
fog bezels both sides: 50
lower valance: 210
lower grill: 75
Chinese grill with lights: 165

approx total: ~2050

If you can find a bumper in your color that would be the biggest savings of the entire project. Those two steps account for almost half the cost.

I'm attaching a PDF that another member [MENTION=273299]dktxt4r[/MENTION] shared with me. The pdf goes over all the parts that are needed (and shared) between models. Extremely helpful.

After accumulating all the parts it took me about 6 hours from start to finish by myself to remove and install my bumper. With another person it would have sped things up a bit. I really like how it turned out.

Hey Miguelon, Sorry I know this is an old post, but I see that you have a Yakima Skybox 21 listed in your mods. Are you having any issues with your tailgate with that cargo box or does your rack bring it up high enough not to interfere? Thanks!

Take a look under each side of the truck and you’ll see six bolts holding each rocket panel. also open front and rear doors and you’ll see two philips screws. Lastly, the front fender mud flaps has to be removed as one of the lower clips attaches to the rocker. Rear fender also has one bolt for the rocker.

So I ended up putting the TRD wheels on my limited awhile back, with 265/70/17 hankooks. From all my original reading those should cause no rubbing. I do get rubbing in reverse, and not even quite at full lockout. Has anyone else had that issue? TIA

id also check your alignment. i'd be willing to be you have under 3 degrees of caster.
